John the bartender was an amazing guy and the beer… called Firefly…is without a doubt the best suds I’ve ever consumed. Highly recommend this establishment for a refreshing and friendly diversion from this stress-filled world.”

“The restaurant was just closing up as we walked up, despite it being their closing time, they invited us in to eat, encouraging us to dine in and take our time. Amazing service. “Great location right in the middle of town at an easy enough to navigate intersection despite being right on Beacon.They take SNAP, which is awesome, with the only trade-off being that you can cook the pizza to your own liking. Such tragedy and trial, am I right?I usually hit this spot shortly before closing, so I only know what the evenings are like. Ample parking, quick service, little traffic, knowledgeable staff... and they're usually ready to get out of there after a long day. I empathize. No fake smiles or trying to make empty small talk. I came in dour yet polite asking for a pizza and got the like in return. As I said, excellent service (my last pizza was assembled from refrigerated storage boxes on a shelf and the cashier/pizza architect *still used the bowls and scale for ingredients!*) and extreme professionalism.Parking: The location is small and on the corner of a repurposed Family Video store. The entire parking lot for the former store is available and therefore parking is never an issue.”

“Usually my go-to salad bar. Employees don’t seem to really know what’s going on. Went in during lunch, no chicken was out. Said it would be a short wait.. 30 mins later still no chicken.”

“We had a wonderful experience in the grill room!!With a Smoked Old Fashioned and a well prepared steak, I'm not sure how you could have a better experience! ( Maybe 2 of each? )Friendly staff that work well with each other even under high pressure!!!Thanks!”

“Great potential. Had the salmon dinner friday night. Fantastic salmon. Unfortunately a bit cold. Table of 6, probably cooked first, not kept warm. I suspect an inexperienced kitchen staff issue”

“Had to change my review after tonight's mess. I had made a reservation but on arrival the kid at the host station said they got busy so they gave our table away. Our server was terrible, forgot to put in my order so I sat while the rest of our table ate.She said she'd comp my meal, then replied that a reservation is just that and not a guarantee you'll have a table. Strange concept, why bother to make one then. Or let your patrons make one. Another server apologized for everything, but the damages were already done. Sad, used to be a place we enjoyed to dine at. One of the rare few available that were good on the Lakeshore.Not sure we'll be coming back if this is what can be expected.”

“Went here yesterday and had amazing drinks, service, and food.I got a whiskey sour and it was so good! My husband got cinematic old fashion, so good and cute. We got two apps, the fries and spinach dip. Portions we huge, we took 1/2 home!”

“We have gone many times to this place. Majority of the time the food and service rank 5 stars. This rating is during the fall and winter time, indoors. Service and quality of food go down to a 3.5 - 4 during summer months. The wait, staff interaction and attention to the execution of food go down in my experience. But still this is a worthy establishment to spend time and money at. Just lower expectations, during summer times... the view and the drinks are worth it. Also if you go with a larger party you probably wont all get your food together the kitchen and pizza chefs struggle with being in sync.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and there was a Magician there that which was a nice treat.Wheelchair accessibility: Once inside restaurant has nice inside flow, to get to restroom and there is a nice large stall in the ladies room. I cannot speak for the mens though.”

“My friend and I went here for dinner and drinks. We shared the meatballs appetizer and the garlic aoili fries. The food was decent but we were surprised that the aoili was actually mayo based instead of oil based. They were still good but not what we expected. They did give my friend a free dessert for her birthday so, that was nice. The server Emily did a great job and the atmosphere was very nice.”

“Great food and great service! With them being right on the water on the ground floor of Snug Harbor, you can now reserve a table next to the river for fireworks & the musical fountain for Independence Day and other special occasions!”
