“Visited this last (Nov 9) Saturday. What a pleasant experience. K (bartender) was remarkably educated about the establishment and the history behind its foundation. I provide feedback about the wines that I like and within few taste samples, she honed down the perfect glass. In my case it was an Aviatrix Crimson (pictured). They have a good selection of wines and spirits. Food options are extremely limited although the selection is acceptable as snack pairing.
High capacity seating and although the parking is limited, if parties ride-share there is plenty room inside and I would suggest it is better this way, minimizing the chance of not being able to park more than say 10 standard size cars. Front is a 7 (or so) steep res brick stair. K assures me there is an easy access ramp in the back of building for customers with limited mobility (I did not check that access as I arrived late past sunset and came alone, not needing it). Overall, including the conversation, was very positive. Would likely try again if in the area.”

“Went in for lunch. Overall great experience. The owner greeted us as we came in and they are so nice. I ordered the olive burger and was so good. My daughter got a burger with their moo moo sauce and it is very tasty. We got flavored fries, garlic Parmesan, white cheddar and picked flavored. They were all good. Their ice cream is so good. I had the Southern butter pecan. My daughter had one of the crazy shakes. Highly recommend!

Parking: Downtown Jackson so parking on street or a parking lot within a few blocks.

“I eat donuts all over the country. These are among the best I’ve had. There’s a reason this place is regularly considered the best in the state. Nothing fancy or “artisan” about these donuts. All fillings and icings are made in house. Their cake donuts are insanely good. These guys are pulling donuts out of the fryer from 5:00 to 11:00. If you like warm donuts that melt in your mouth, then be sure to ask what’s still warm or what’s coming out next. It will be worth the wait and you will come back.”

Enjoyed the friendly waitress, who was cheerful and funny as we chatted. Got home later to realize my purse was not in my car. Panic stricken I recalled my stops of the day and realized I left my purse at the Crazy Cowboy😳 I quickly called there, honestly expecting bad news, thankfully to hear that the waitress had my purse. What a relief! The worst case scenario of replacing everything in it had played in my mind. It also occurred to me that it was my brand new Dooney and Burke bag that I had left… I was shocked and so appreciative to have gotten it back. The only cash was $6 in it, and I gave it to her as a small thank you. I then asked if I could tell a manager or owner that I was grateful that she was honest. She informed me that she was the owner… A heartfelt thank you to this gal! And I highly recommend this as a friendly and tasty place to eat, not to mention that it is owned by a stand up person! Thank you!!”

“This was our first meal from Love Pasta!! We ordered Focaccia Bread. Spicy Chicken and Chorizo Pasta Tray Bake. Ricotta and Spinach Cannelloni. Tiramisu. An absolute superb meal!! “China King is (IMHO) the best Chinese restaurant in Jackson. The food is high quality with generous portions. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient. I live on the opposite side of town, and I passed two other Chinese restaurants on my way to China King.The food is well worth the drive. One caveat, I wouldn't say it has a good dining atmosphere. It is clean, but not set as a place I would take a friend to dine in.

Parking: Convient free parking with ample size parking lot.”

“Aunt Millies Bread Store is a great place to buy fresh bread and other items. We buy old dated bread for birds, Geese, deer, and other foul. Cheap for Quantity and a real bargain for fresh bread. We Love this place,and you need to at least visit, if you like different types of breads. This location has it all. You will find what you like, without having to search everywhere else.”

I hope they keep the firecracker wrap as that's a great flavor combo, but I'll always have my Country Club as a standard fare option.”
