“I love this place, the sandwiches are amazing! However I wish they would wait until closing time to close. I drove 20 minutes to get there, managed to get there 15 minutes before they closed, and they already had locked the doors. Very disappointing.“

“It is always a joy to visit Boardwalk subs on plainfield ave in Grand Rapids, MI the staff on duty especially: Tammy, Matt, Marissa, and Natashia all know us by name and what kind of sub we like. They are so friendly and happy to see us each time we visit. They work so well as a team each helping each other out. The subs are extraordinary good, only one of the reasons we keep going back. “Stopped by Boardwalk Subs and had a really good experience overall. The front area was clean, and the bathroom was okay and kept up, which is always a good sign for a restaurant. The servers were really nice and welcoming, and they made ordering easy.
The food was great and the portions were generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. One cool tip if you go: “run it through the garden” is the secret code for getting all the veggies on your sub, which made the sandwich even better.

“I’ll give them 5 stars because they have the best tuna fish and I don’t like to hurt anyone’s business but I ordered a double meat Big Kahuna Chicken Cheesesteak and wanted provolone instead of American white cheese. I could barely tell there was any cheese on it and was the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had there, very dry. Maybe I ordered it wrong and if so I apologize.“

“Restaurant was very clean, not busy at all, and staff was very friendly and nice. I would’ve gave service a 5 ⭐️ as well but I decided a 4 because I got the meal of the day special and I didn’t want the drink, so I asked if I could just get a extra cookie or two in place of the medium drink and, with a nice soft voice, the cashier said “no, we can’t. I don’t know, no manager there to ask and the other female staff are not management but she thinks they can’t it will effect inventory!?” 😧How, I’m thinking because you’ll have a free medium cup, I’m pretty sure there is no strict count on cookies that staff is baking themselves. But it is what it is, so I just took the cup. And other Subways have no problem with giving me two extra cookies in place of the drink, I’m thinking the 1 or 2 cookies can’t be more than a medium drink but oh well🤔😌“

“I stopped by Subway today for lunch, and I was genuinely impressed! The restaurant was spotless, and the staff greeted me with smiles the moment I walked in. My sandwich artist took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it — fresh veggies, perfectly toasted bread, and the right amount of sauce.

You could tell all the ingredients were fresh; the tomatoes were crisp, the lettuce was bright, and the bread smelled amazing. I tried the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on Italian Herb & Cheese, and it was absolutely delicious — warm, flavorful, and satisfying.

The service was quick even during the lunch rush, and the employees seemed to take real pride in their work. The dining area was clean and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere that made me want to stay a little longer.

However allow people to order 50$ worth of food through the drive through making everyone wait for them is completely bs. Other fast food will make them pull up or place and online order! “Is always a go to spot if I want some subway, its close to center of a lot of spots and houses, so easy to grab on the way. I usually do order to go, so I don't eat in a lot. But they make quality subs, and are most of the time pretty fast with them.
