“From the 1st time I have eaten there, I have had the most amazing food! It’s literally everything I love in a bowl! And the guys and gals working there are awesome! They bring the food to the table and they make me feel like they are excited about my dinner! And they bring me a masterpiece every time! Simply the Best!“

“This was our first time in and we tried two cold salads - the Royal Fusion and Kick n' Fresca. Both were fresh and delicious, and we really enjoyed the sweet chili dressing. It had the right amount of sweet and hot. The restaurant is super clean and Karzan is really friendly. We will definitely be regulars!“

“They have such yummy, fresh, and creamy smoothies. I have tried most of them and only one I don't like much is Northern Berry just cause the citrus actually was too much for my tongue! Anna's is my favorite! And their Açai bowl is so delicious. Highly recommend especially since every Tuesday they have Power Hour so you get cheaper smoothies! (That's only time I go and the online app ordering is very simple and automatically applies the deal!)“

“I ordered a Turkey Bacon Ranch wrap. The flavor was okay. While it had a pleasant taste, the tomato pita was sometimes a bit much for the amount of filling, making for a doughy, chewy experience at times. By the end of the meal, I was wishing it had been a little less salty, but bacon will do that, right?

My biggest suggestion for improvement would be to change the paper wrapping procedure. I nearly destroyed my wrap trying to open it because it was sealed not with typical restaurant paper tape, but with something more like Scotch tape; 5.8 inches of the stuff. I know because I measured it. It would have been much easier to open using a simple paper tape (hint: Order a Jimmy John's for comparison) or if using Scotch tape, use a lot less of it.“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left for our car, we had a fantastic first experience at Sam Hill! Despite a possible 20 minute wait due to not having reservations during a Sunday lunch hour, we were seated rather quickly. Additionally the host checked to make sure we’re ok with a booth seating 6 of of (their booths are quite roomy and with an 8 & 13 year old with 4 adults there was plenty of room). There was only one hiccup with the food: they had sold out to the dish I ordered (apparently the jambalaya is popular), and the waitress didn’t find out until our food was almost ready. They made it right though by comping my food and were attentive to our satisfaction overall. Love the outdoor rec area as well and we plan to go back when the weather is nicer to take advantage of that feature.“

“We had a wonderful first time at Zingermans deli, my little one doesn't like bread so they recommended we get some meats from the deli. The man with the "sandwiches" hat went over and beyond to make sure our salami lover found the right one she loved the most, core memory made for sure. She went from sad and intimidated by the choices to eating an adult portion of salami, pepperoni, and cheese! He even let us snap a photo for a keepsake!!“

“We came here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. There was a short wait for lunch and our server was wonderful. The food tasted great and the atmosphere was calm and unhurried. I’m so glad we came here!

“Benny’s is a fantastic local gem. Support a kind, local family, and good honest employees. Service has always been friendly and with a smile, regardless if it is carry out (which we often did even pre-pandemic) or dine-in. Food is always great, especially breakfast (go for the Western omelette). Also love their Greek salads. Haven’t really eaten anything that hasn’t been to our liking. Love Benny’s and have been going there since undergrad (20 years!).“

“I would battle the hell of parking in Ann Arbor every day just to eat here! Healthy, nutritional and delicious food/beverage. The ladies that worked the counter were very sweet and helpful since it was my first time. I will most definitely be returning!“

“This place is an absolute gem! The ingredients are always so fresh and tasty. The crew at Barry Bagels is always pleasant and you can tell they really care about their work. I am now a permanent customer! Highly recommended, 10/10 breakfast/lunch spot!“

“Outside of downtown Ann Arbor, this is the best for quality smoothies in Ann Arbor. I’ve been to a lot of smoothie places around the city and have had my displeasures amongst them. Though I always come back to Beyond Juicery.

The employees work fast and are nice. The sandwiches and smoothies are wonderful.

If I had to make a complaint, it’d have to be the lack of inside seating. There’s not a lot room for it, so this is really a low point for complaints but if there’s more than two people waiting for their order, then you’ll have to tuck away somewhere.

Besides that the bench is pure metal which is fairly uncomfy.“

“ordered from uberEats. everything was correct from the instructions I gave except for the beverage. I specifically made notes that I wanted peach lemonade. my order arrived and I was handed a coke. I didn't ask for a coke. my meal instructions were followed, so I'm wondering why my drink instructions weren't. If this is going to be an issue where your staff isn't going to read the notes fully, you should add all the options for the freestyle machine. It wouldn't be that hard. Work with UberEats on this. Otherwise, the food was great.“

“I was in a dark time when I first visited this establishment. I felt hopeless… all until I met Dakota. He greeted me with a hunktastical smile and it warmed my heart. Within moments of greeting him I burst into tears of joy. Most would feel embarrassed spontaneously bursting into tears in public but it was really hard to feel shame when I felt the warm embrace of Dakota seconds later. He calmed me down immediately, somehow knowing the exact lullaby my grandmother would always sing to me as a child. He looked me in the eyes with an immense passion and intensity that you rarely see in your every day life and said “don’t give up, sport.” Dakota talked me off the edge…. I don’t know what I’d do without him.“

“Only reason why a 4 in food is cuz there’s no 4.5 and we only had appetizers and those were delicious!!! The drinks where on point and well made/mixed. The service was awesome as was the vibe and atmosphere!! Visiting from miami where the bar scene is top notch so “The Raven” was great to enjoy a well made drink and chill in a true bar/speak easy vibe spot!! Definitely a “will come back”!! Bartender gets a 5/5“

“Pleasant first experience. Original Lemonade is the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Food was super tasty and delicious, but I wish the portions were a tad larger.. especially the protein! $15-20 and your bowl is mostly carbs. Otherwise, solid place for healthier options.“

“I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) has always been one of those reliable go-to spots for me. It’s consistent, it’s delicious, and it never disappoints.
We’ve got a couple of favorites that are always in the mix. For starters, you can’t go wrong with the Thai Chicken Salad—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. My wife is all about the Tequila Lime Fettuccine, and every time she gets it, she raves about the flavor.
As for me, I’m a pizza guy. Sometimes I go with the classic Pepperoni, other times I mix it up with the Pepperoni and Mushroom or The Works. Honestly, you can’t miss with any of those choices. The crust is always on point, and the toppings are generous and flavorful.
What I appreciate most about CPK is that it’s consistent. Every visit feels like a safe bet for a satisfying meal, and that kind of reliability is hard to come by these days. So, kudos to you, CPK, for being that backbone of a spot I know I can count on. You’ll definitely stay in my regular rotation.“

“Just ok. I am the only one standing at the counter and it took forever for a staff member to acknowledge I was even there. I know if they are busy they could have said something we will be with you. Nope. I'm invisible for several minutes. Unsure I want to spend my money for service like that again.“

“I moved to this area a few months ago. Over the last few years I have probably dined at Noodles & Company 10 to 12 times not too often simply because there's not many locations where I am originally from. I ate at the Noodles & Company next to University about 6 weeks ago and I enjoyed the food but I felt like I had interrupted the staff. Just being truthful and I don't like saying that but I believe in honesty for a review. I came to this location a few weeks ago and immediately I noticed how the place was packed. I've never experienced but myself only dining at other locations. I thought well they must be going something right here in addition to the food being excellent because the food is excellent at all the locations. The service here is outstanding. I came back today and the woman who greeted me and took my order was unbelievably pleasant. She was enthusiastic in her approach and I could tell she was sincere. She made my experience delightful. I love having a sense of welcome. Who doesn't? As I was leaving I went back up to the counter and I asked her for her first name. Her name is Josie and I found out she is the general manager. I had noticed the behavior of some of the other employees who equally were demonstrating hospitable character. Of course it would make sense because it always starts at the top.j Josie has set an excellent tone for these people to reach and they most definitely embody it.
I'm grateful. And of course I will be back.“
