“I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. Elaine’s has amazing bagels and their hazelnut coffee is unmatched. You got yourself a regular. I recommend this place to anyone!“

“I came to Umai Café in Troy for my birthday because I really wanted to try their soufflé pancakes — and they did not disappoint! They were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the sando, which was just as good — flavorful and satisfying.

The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were very kind. The only small hiccup was that the posted hours said they open at 11:30, but they didn’t open until 12:00, so keep that in mind if you’re planning an early visit.

I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “The fact that a COVID-19 card was needed upon entry, along with the fact that it wasn't advertised on the door, were the lowlights. I don't anticipate returning until the policy is changed. My recommendation is to obtain an updated COVID-19 card, and have it on your phone or in your pocket/purse/wallet before you visit. it will save the trouble of being turned away.“

I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. “Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.
