“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. I personally had the sweet and salty and I still can’t stop thinking about it a day later. Staff were so kind, patient, and friendly. And the place is picture perfect to document your experience. Can’t wait to visit again with my husband and sons who didn’t join us.“

“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. If you answered "no one under 99 in Berkley," you would be right, and you will learn this fact if you dare to approach the drive thru on any day of the week between April and October. DQ serves up the typical soft-serve ice cream, thick blended shakes, and ice cream with more cookies in it than the cookie aisle at Meijer. You'll find this outpost well-staffed by happy teenagers harried somewhat by the pace and popularity of their franchise. I've heard it not-jokingly said DQ is the most profitable business in the city, and that may be borne out seeing what it was valued at on Zillow.That said, spare yourself the agony and order ahead or go in person after walking up from one of the municipal lots on 12 Mile. The traffic backups on weekends or Friday night going eastbound on 12 Mile are *horrific*, and there's always one entitled yahoo who blocks both lanes of traffic trying to get through. Going into the shop is mildly more controlled. Traffic being snarled and teenagers on bikes completely oblivious to the risk, or bad drivers shoving their ways in, just make for a definite headache.That said, you'll get your order usually correct and made with skill and enthusiasm by the hard-working staff. They manage ENORMOUS volumes with a lot of dignity, probably collapsing into the freezer in exhaustion when the last swirl cone leaves at the end of the day.Sadly this is NOT a brazier and it's not open during low-volume winter months.“

They were fairly busy with only a short line, but the staff were knowledgeable on their flavors and gave great recommendations with generous servings. “I don’t usually leave long reviews, but Crumbl honestly deserves one. I stopped in pretty randomly, just planning to grab a couple cookies… and ended up walking out with a whole box because everything looked way too good to pass up.

First impressions: the store was spotless. You can actually see the team mixing dough, scooping, and baking everything right there. It feels more like a bakery than a chain. The staff greeted me right away, didn’t rush me, and even gave me honest opinions on which cookies were actually their favorites instead of just upselling. That alone made the experience feel more genuine.

Now the cookies—unreal. I don’t know what kind of magic they use, but these things are huge, warm, and soft in the middle without being raw. I tried the classic chocolate chip first just to get a baseline, and it might honestly be the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had from any bakery. Perfect balance of crispy edges and a gooey center.

Then I tried the weekly specials, and that’s where they really hooked me. Every flavor actually tastes like what it’s supposed to taste like. The textures, the toppings, the fillings—nothing feels lazy or thrown together. You can tell they put real effort into each recipe, and the presentation is ridiculous. These things look like they belong on a commercial.

Price-wise, yeah, they’re a little more expensive than regular cookies, but these aren’t regular cookies. One is basically a dessert all by itself, and the quality backs it up. I don’t mind paying for something that actually tastes like premium ingredients were used.

Overall, Crumbl surprised me. I thought it was just hype, but I get it now. Great service, great atmosphere, and honestly some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back—probably more often than I should.“

“Welcoming and friendly staff! It’s a cute little spot for frozen yogurt. They’ve got the classic flavors like cookies & cream, chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, and strawberry, plus a few fun extras. There’s a good variety of toppings, and they all tasted fresh.

You don’t get to add your own toppings, which is a bit of a bummer since that’s part of the fun of self-serve froyo—but the girl who helped us was super nice.

It came out to $17 for two cups, which is about what I’d expect. Just a heads up: there’s a $5 minimum if you’re using a card.

The Tres Leches Cake Crumbl Cookie needs to be illegal in at least 17 states. One bite and I ascended to an emotional plane where I briefly forgave my enemies, remembered childhood birthdays, and questioned if I had ever truly tasted moisture before this moment.

The cookie itself? Buttery, soft, just the right level of dense.
The tres leches topping? Creamy, rich, thick without being cloying — like the center of a good hug or the first time someone sees your worth without you asking.
