“The Spinning Spur is a laid-back, welcoming, wonderful bar! We were up from Milwaukee for a couple of days skiing and stopped in Bessemer for a drink. Steph was so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere so enjoyable, we came back the next night for another round!“

The Aurora Club is very helpful in everything you need as well as accommodating special requests. The halls are bright and beautiful for any event.The staff is very friendly and accommodating... “I recently visited Nora's Red Carpet Lounge at 118 Silver St, in Hurley, WI. I was visiting the Hurley area and walked from my hotel and walked into Nora's. I was pleasantly greeted and ordered my beverage. The bartender was fantastic and we were able to talk as we watched football. The people at the bar were real friendly as well and I enjoyed my time talking to them as well. A good place to go and enjoy the night.

“Jack's bar is a part of Snow River Resort. Right at the top of the lift. Live music was great. Pub food available with great views of the main lift....until the new six person high speed becomes the new main lift. Bar is inside same building as guest services, rentals, ticket windows and retail shop.“

I get the vibe that some top food critic is going to come in disguise, sit down, and eat the best meal of his life. Then boom, all of a sudden ironwood is on the map with a top tier restaurant and us locals can’t get in anymore. … Maybe I shouldn’t write that into existence though because I’d be super sad if I couldn’t sit down for a prime rib again. So food critics, please stay away and let us have this. :) All jokes aside, I did have the best prime rib of my life. I love that it’s a reservation system, giving a sense of eliteness but still providing a small town, homey, comfortable dining experience when you sit down. It’s quiet, perfect for a date night or a special occasion. This will be our go-to in the future! Thank you for a great meal!“
