“I had gone to grab food from here today for the first time and was super impressed! My siblings and I grew up eating Mexican food so I have grown picky on which food I like, depending on how it is cooked. I love Mexican food! It’s one of those foods that has to be cooked with heart and soul, I can easily say this food was! I had gotten the birria taco dinner and three pork tamales à la carte. Both were super good. Rice and beans were good too. I think the only thing I would add would be a spicy option on your pork tamales😍🤤 Either way it was super good. I will be back!“

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

“They have the absolute best gluten free options! They have a separate preparation area for gluten free items too so no chance of cross contamination! Their sandwiches on their own house made gf bread is delicious and their gf soups are also absolutely divine! Considering how pricey most gf items are they keep their sandwiches and soups at an affordable price!“

“Valentino’s was the first food I was introduced to when I moved to Michigan, and it has never failed me. The BLT pizza is so delicious! We are big fans of the mushroom and cheese pizza, BBQ chicken, and their garlic bread. The dough they use has so much flavor on its own. Their food isn’t overly greasy and has the perfect blend of flavors. You have to check them out!“

“AMAZING FOOD! The fried oyster mushrooms were to die for. The gyro, hands down the best gyro I've had, vegan or not. Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“

“Stopped in for the first time. The bbq chicken pizza was recommended by the guy at the counter. I Went with his recommendation and was I glad. It was one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in a long time. I also had the oven roasted wings that were equally as good. Definitely will be back.“

“Good pitas and pizza. Ordered a large pizza and chicken wings last night. They not cheap with the toppings. Besides my delivery taking an hour everything was great. Called and complained and the young man gave me a free delivery on my next order. 6 stars“
