I enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Wrap. It was enough for two people. Afterwards, if you have enough room, she has a pretty big selection of ice cream. A few choices are not your typical favors too.“

“After a long day of travel I was searching for a place to get food. I called 30 min before closing to see if I could order food as I was 15 min away and so close to closing time. The gentleman that answered reassured me that I have plenty of time and to come on in to order. Once arriving 3-4 employees greeted me warmly and helped answer questions regarding the menu. Great options for food - can get basic burger/chicken tenders but also culinary creative salads, dinners, & soups. I enjoyed the mediterranean burger, homemade French fries, garden salad and peanut butter chocolate cheese cake! They set me up to go and was very impressed how staff worked together and seemed to have great care and respect for this establishment. Very! Very clean!!!! Special thanks to the waitress that set me up with a treat for my service dog!“

“Midway between Houghton and Eagle River made this the perfect spot to enjoy everything the Kewenauw peninsula has to offer. Fluffy towels and pillows, and a peaceful, quiet room. We could really tell how much the new owners cared about our experience and they checked in to make sure we had what we needed. Just a a short ride into Calumet for arts coffee, and food, and just a quick trip east or west to beaches and parks for rock hunting and stargazing, waterfalls, and the beautiful woods. Driving up the shoreline to eagle river and beyond is a must for beaches and nature preserve trails, and the beaches at misery bay, Agate beach, and the mouth of the river near houghton were amazing for rock hounding and relaxing. Close to trails for winter, too. Glacia tavern across the road had great food, and also Slim's Cafefor breakfast a few steps away. Try the cinnamon rolls!“

“I was THAT customer, I walked in 10 minutes before they closed. I tried to be very polite and ask if they were able to help me grab something quick before my flight to Isle Royale.

They were super accommodating, and I was able to get some tasty bacon and eggs and I was on my way quick as a bunny!

That said, I had a great time here tonight with family; playing keno and putting back PBR, pickled eggs and popcorn. Beautiful wood bar & lighting, this historic building kinda makes you feel like you stepped back in time. The “dog” makes everyone feel welcome.“

“I normally think Applebee's is great however the last time we went the food was great but the drink was watery and I mentioned it and she said she'd tell the manager and that's about it. And the drink was a lemonade with mango and then she let me try the lemonade with strawberry and it was watery also... Just a heads up on that.

Parking: I usually go with a girlfriend who is handicap so we have a handicap parking right in front very convenient

Kid-friendliness: As far as kids live friendliness there are booths for a larger families and boost for four people and also tables for four people so depending on how large your family is I think it would cover up to six people in a large booth.“

“Vicki's is almost the perfect place. Vicky herself is wonderful, the food is great and at wonderful steals of prices. The only draw back is the size of the store, you can't get enough people in.

“I used to love mings but, I was sadly disappointed since they reopened. Started off horribly with our table having rice all over it right when we got there and the egg rolls are like half the size they used to be and taste like frozen grocery store egg rolls (they even gave me a little plastic sauce pack for them, that was a first 🤷🏼‍♂️) the crab Rangoons are now flat like dumplings and taste way different also. Me and my girlfriend got the General Tsos chicken and Sesame Chicken both came out within 15 minutes BUT, were somehow cold and soggy within that time and both tasted and looked exactly the same for some reason, hers just had sesame seeds on top and mine had red pepper flakes added to it. We left both dishes of chicken and took the rice which was the only decent part for 40+$.“

“I think this is my fav spot in town for basically all my needs. Parm garlic wings are the bomb! Ranch is good ??Cheap drinks. Great patio and view! Love how inside and outside have different music vibes and I love them both! Great place to hang, chill, play (pool tables and darts etc) dance, eat, and drink. 10/10 recommend.“
