“whoever "mom" is, we love you. we love this establishment and the hospitality it provided us. we frequent the area often and took our friends and employees on a trip up north to see the leaves and lights. I get bad anxiety in vehicles so we stopped here to get a drink before I made the long haul to the UP. My ex-husband gave us limited time but when we got there it was jamming. the hostess looked at "mom" and asked if she could accommodate us quickly. "MOM" didn't only accommodate us, she represented the company so well that forever more I'll say "mom's place." I love you, mom.”

“My finance and I stopped in Kilwins and was immediately greeted by a female employee who offered to let us try some samples and explained their deals going on. We looked around for a few minutes and were greeted by the store Manager Jesse who was absolutely amazing letting us try some samples of ice cream.

I after grabbing a small cup of ice cream walked out with my fiance. The ice cream tasted so amazing I had to come back for another scoop. Jesse was there again to greet us as we walked in and immediately helped us again with more chocolate before we walked out. I went through all the chocolate shops in the town and Kilwins was the only place that felt so friendly all the employees there were so great and helpful if I could give more stars I would. We will definitely be back.”

“This place has four cases of about twenty different flavors of ice cream. It could be bad if you’re indecisive… but you’ll definitely find at least one flavor to love! They had blue moon, plus “blue play dough” — a unique combo of blue moon with sugar cookie pieces. PLUS a Superman waffle cone to put it in!? SO COOL. We will definitely be stopping by here every time we are near the area 😍 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Stopped in for the first time today. We’re from a city outside of Detroit. We’re known for our coney dogs so I wanted to try theirs. Absolutely did not disappoint! It was so good! We also tried a corn dog and it tasted like the ones you would get at the fair. Will be our go to spot when we travel this way!”

“Great stay, definitely recommend! We staid for a night between biking the heritage trail and the little traverse wheelway. Host provided a nice intro of the property, suggestions on places to see in the area, and helpful info on our biking route. Make sure you budget time to enjoy the views out front and back - very cool!”

“Today I went into the Subway to grab a sandwich. As I was finishing checking out I got very lightheaded and the employee asked if I wanted a chair and I declined but as I was walking to a booth I passed out and the worker named Austin worked very fast to help get me alert and to call the paramedics. I give a very big shoutout to that worker Austin who was very professional and got a job well done and did as much as he could until professional help arrived. PS the sandwich that he made was very good when I was later eating it in the hospital”
