I ordered a coffee and a butter croissant. I LOVE a croissant, and always have high hopes - but more often than not I'm let down by an underwhelming bite. So, imagine my delight as I bit into the flakiest, most wonderfully textured pastry I've had in a very long time. The outside was crispy, virtually exploding like a tree struck by lightening (evidence provided of my shirt post-snack), and the inside was soft and perfectly chewy. Although they were out of a lot of bagel flavors, it gave me the chance to try something I wouldn’t have usually gotten so I got the Asiago bagel with the scallion cream cheese and babyyyyyy, it was SO GOOD! I got their plain cream cheese too in case I didn’t like the scallion one and even that one was good. It didn’t taste like your regular Philadelphia cream cheese. I will be back. So many people tried it and said that it was some of the best birthday cake they’ve ever tried. The cupcakes were OK - not as good as the cake - but still decent. I probably wouldn’t get those again but that cake was a real winner. Dr. T even told me to write a good review because he was so pleased. Will be coming back here for more birthday cakes!!!
