“Blown away by how good this was. Was craving Mexican food for a good while and never really noticed Taqueria Alma was in my city. Ordered a Wet Burrito Dinner which came out to be $12.71. Fantastic service and food.

The whole meal was fresh and piping hot, the chicken was delicious, and it was an extremely affordable meal. Before I received my order, a customer inside let the cashier know that it was the best tacos he'd eaten and I'm glad I took his word for it- it seriously was that good. This meal came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, beans and rice on the sides.

If you're ever in the mood for an affordable meal or you're in the area and wanting something delicious to eat, Taqueria Alma is there for you.“

“All the people who worked there were the nicest people ever. Their soup has healed me on multiple occasions, and has alphabet noodles which I think is an adorable choice. All of the other food was really good too. Dry rub wings are awesome. The ranch was good too but the wings didn't need it. I would add a picture but I ate it all immediately 😄“

“The food was delicious. Had the beef and the carne asada tacos with chips and guac. First, these chips are store-made, flavored and delicious. Corn tortillas, which I love, for the tacos that are fried or heated, so not like a the other restaurant corn tortillas. It is best to order online or have a little patience in-person. “While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“First time trying it and let me say I regret not trying it sooner. I was a bit hesitant but Chris was extremely helpful and made so many great recommendations. I had the quesadillas (chicken), chips and queso. The dessert was over the top. When I say I am not typically a big eater I tried some of everything. The best part the servings were ample enough I have left overs for a day or two. In addition to Chris the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be back. “This place slaps! The people who have left reviews saying the food isn’t authentic are idiots. Look at who’s working here, you know it’s authentic. They have a great happy hour from 2-6 and 9pm-close, their margaritas are the best in metro Detroit! All fresh juices, no bottle mixes, seriously so good! $10 fresh made margs for happy hour can’t be beat. And our service was so sweet and attentive.
