I had the steak and eggs, both cooked to my rare/over medium delight and my rye toast actually came with my meal. So important. Loved our waitress Becky. I'm from Sfld and my sisters are in Mt. Clemens. We will make this our meeting spot from now on.“

“I'm a pretty picky customer and tend to nitpick, admittedly. However, I've been coming here for about 2 yrs now and NOT ONCE did I have anything to complain about except for the fact that they're not open 24/7 lol! The best sushi & sashimi in the country! It's always so fresh and the presentation is beautiful! Their meso & clear soup is superb and their housemade salad dressing is delicious! The hibachi is delicious & very entertaining and interactive. The atmosphere is always great. The service is wonderful and hospitable. The General Manager is exceptional and he has built an exceptional team. I won't go anywhere else when I'm craving Japanese cuisine!“

“We finally got to dine at Mabel Gray's and it was phenomenal! The staff was great. We did the tasting menu. 8 prefectly timed courses. The cocktails were creative and yummy. The food, let me tell you about the food. Warm and cold oysters, fantastic. 2nd course was a cross between a cevieche (sorry if spelt wrong) and sushi. Yummy!! Wing, the best sauce I have ever had. The show stopper for me was the clam chowder. Fresh buttery goodness. I could eat that all day every day. Deep fried sweet potatoes. That made you realize you have been doing sweet potatoes all wrong. Duck dumplings that make you want more. I am too stuffed to type anymore. Go get your Mabel on. You won't regret it!“

“I've driven by this place a hundred times, curious as to what this funky cool place was about.Tonight we enjoyed a great vegetarian meal and the unique atmosphere. Dr. Bob served up big portions of fresh made pesto pasta, falafel, stir fry and okra soup. Plus the best ginger hibiscus tea I've ever had!Dr. Bob is a practicing chiropractor, has a wide variety of herbs and cooks amazing vegetarian foods!

I myself am not so much of a bourbon drinker and found that I enjoyed sipping my cocktail and the different samples. Tasting from the different barrels was an awesome experience. We plan to go to the new tour starting in January as we enjoyed this one so much! I was also able to try the other liqueurs made by detriot distillery at the end and wow! The food was amazing and cost was much less than I would have expected for the caliber and presentation of our meals and dessert. For all of you paranormal afficionados, their Ghost Bar is a must. The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. “Everything was good, however, when checking my charge receipts weeks later, a larger amount was charged to my card. I called and talked to the manager, who stated, “ the $17.00 add on was probably because no gratuity was left,” and I would receive a refund within 3-5 days. Well, first of all, I always leave a cash tip. I don’t believe in charging a tip. Second no one, and I mean no one has the right to make an additional charge on my card without my consent. It has been a week since I talked to the manager and nothing has been refunded. I will be contacting my bank for the refund that I did not receive from Seasons 52. Even though the food was exceptionally good, I refuse to cater to a restaurant that uses my charge card as an ATM.“

The restaurant is always clean the new updates make the inside even cooler. Nick and his family treat everybody just like family. This place never disappoints!
