We used to do take out more than dine in but Christmas Eve dine in was always a family tradition, a through back from the old days when Chinese was the only thing open on Christmas Eve. When in Detroit it was always The Great China Inn on Harper. You have to know that one Christmas Eve as we were leaving we my husband said Merry Christmas and the lady said same to you Bill. No, we didn’t get carry out too often, not. LOL“

Generally speaking I'm not a fan of sweet and sour soup but since I've been under the weather I decided to try it and it was delicious. I also was given additional fortune cookies so I feel extremely lucky thank you sir for your kindness food was delicious!“

“Let me tell you this. This is the best Chinese food I ever had. The food is so good. I went inside the restaurant on Thursday after my doctor appointment and had lunch there. The lady was so nice and such a hard worker. When I tried the food I thought it was so good. It was so good we did a delivery order the next day. This is my new place I will be going. “My first time here. Ordered 2 combination orders with the chicken fried rice (sesame chicken and beef chop suey. Also added a small hot and sour soup. Everything was delicious and big portions. The hot mustard did not disappoint. I will definitely be back.“
“Great almond boneless chicken, crunchy outside, good flavor, large portion in the dinner. Fried rice and egg rolls are excellent also. Wanton egg drop soup (mixed) was very good, my wife usually gets egg drop but like the mixed soup better. Great value, carryout with 2 tables in lobby.“

The lady that answered the phone was very nice and polite and the lady that waited on me when I went to pick my order up was also very nice and polite. The food was good, there's no complaints about it, it's Chinese food. The price is up a little bit but what isn't pricey these days. I would definitely go here again“
“The food never disappoints, and the people are always friendly! I only get take out, so I can't really comment on the ambiance aside from it looking like every other Chinese restaurant! They have the best General Tso's chicken in the area, and I've tried just about all of them!“
“Best hot and sour soup I've had around here. All the right ingredients including the correct fungus and heavier on the vinegar so it's not slimy. Maybe a little to heavy on the vinegar but hey. I was disappointed in the kung pao. It didn't have the right ingredients for king pao in my opinion and was not hot enough. Water chestnut, pea pods, baby corn? I especially would have liked some whole hot peppers, less sauce, and more peanut. Egg rolls and rangoons are great. I'll come back and try something new.“
