“My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about 2 years now and absolutely love it. The food tastes fresh compared to other places we've tried. The staff is always so friendly & kind. Kind people, great food, couldn't ask for anything else!! We will continue to choose Far East & you should too!!“
“I came in a couple days ago and Juwan was my server and he was training a nice young lady (sorry I don’t remember her name) but anyways they were so nice and they made my lunch experience fantastic. I told Juwan jokingly about how my co-workers wanted some of my fortune cookies I had the day before because I always ask for extra and that was like my 3rd or 4th time at P.F. Chang’s in that week alone (that was my first time in my life having it that Monday and I kept coming back it was so good lol,) and he gave me so many extra fortune cookies and I was able to share them with my whole office and we all loved them. He was a very fantastic server and I will always remember how generous he was with the fortune cookies. Hopefully he’s my server next time ????“
“Like many other folks over the past couple of weeks, a friend pointed out the recent video review of a place that's been in business 20+ years I never knew about.Be warned up front: it's carry-out only at this time. We didn't know that. The store itself is charming and no excess. You go there for the food. The gentleman who waited on us was extraordinarily polite and helpful. I'd go there again based on the service alone.I ordered the shrimp dumplings, which reminded me quite a bit of the ones I get in Hong Kong, so, bonus. Lots of filling here, too. The crab rangoon is hands down the best I've had from a restaurant probably ever. It's the real deal and absolutely delicious! Oddly enough, the green onion pancakes had the lightest of flavor. I'll probably try something else like the Spring Rolls in lieu of the pancakes next time. And there WILL be a next time.Amazing place and great food!“
“This place has filled a void ever since Curry Express on 9 Mile and Ryan closed... never thought me and my lady would find Chicken Karai again but this place really exceeded all expectations. Had the Garlic Naan and it was easily the best naan we've ever tried.“
“My favorite Thai spot, hands down, I drive over an hour sometimes, and they have never disappointed me. If you want good food and great service, this is it! They have the best prices and the best tasting foodVegetarian options: Tofu and vegetarian dishesParking: Parking behind the building is the best, the main road is always packed.“
“Love this restaurant. Have been coming here for 30 yrs. But please improve the way you deliver plum sauce/ hot mustard. The same open container with the same spoons should not be shared from table to table. We noticed after asking for plum sauce we received the condiments from the buffet that were then placed on the buffet after we were done with our meal (without changing the containers or spoons looking ready to be shared to the next table that requested). Quite disturbing.“
“Found this place on accident 2 days ago. We ordered takeout. We had the family meal for 5. There was so much food. It felt more like enough for 7 or 8. The quality was just as good. So today we came back and dined in. They were super busy but we very nice. The food took a little while to come out but it didn't feel like it was too long. Afterwards, the owner came over to apologize, which was nice but unnecessary. We totally recommend this location.“
“Always a wonderful experience. You cannot go wrong with any soup base really. But if you can eat spicy, would highly recommend the spicy flavors. More rich and savory. Also love how fast and clean the restaurant is. Price is very reasonable as well!“
“The food here is so good my co-workers and I literally count the days when they get back from vacation. From the curry beef noodle "laksa" to the chicken satay to the peanut pancakes, it reminds me of my mom's house in Malaysia. It really is that good. The atmosphere is a bit weird but expected from a hole in the wall spot. For the taste and money, I don't care if they put us in a basement, bring on the food!“
“This is the best food I've had in my 50 something years of eating Chinese food. When I first moved into my I ordered the chicken egg foo young. I opened the box and was in awe. This place actually has the chunks of chicken, so the egg foo young is not a flat patty by any means. Service is great here eating in or carry out. The ambiance is perfect. I get the Chicken Pad Thai noodle. Delicious..........They always get it right on!!“
“I stopped in for Dim Sum on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30pm. Since this was too late for lunch and too early for dinner there were only two other people in the restaurant. We had 4 people with us and ordered a lot of dim sum. Everything was really good. The staff are very friendly. We will go back again for dim sum. Our favorites were deep fried squid, shrimp kau, shiu mai and beef baby ribs. The rest were also good but the above was great! The bill was $68 before tipParking: There is plenty of parking and a few handicap spots as well“
“I've been to trizest many times, and it does not disappoint. I just found out about this place a couple months ago and I've been here already a few times. If you love spicy food, this is the place for you. The service is so kind. There are two employees that we always see when coming here, and they are always so nice and helpful. The food comes out so quick too and so fresh! The food comes out family style and the portions are excellent. We always have food to take home. The environment is quiet and never too busy when we come in. This restaurant is very different from the traditional Chinese restaurants. It has an authentic Sichuan style! My husband and I love coming here. Again, if you love spicy foods as well this is the place! The popcorn chicken is one of their popular foods and it's delicious! We haven't tried anything we didn't like yet!“
“I stop by Zhang's all the time. The managers are always kind and helpful. Their BBQ is made fresh daily, so I go earlier for the best selection. I always get a whole roast duck-- flavorful and crispy. It is clean and well kept inside, I recommend!“
“Absolutely the BEST Chicken Lomein I have ever had !! Not the normal packaged noodles, and a little chicken. IT WAS SO GOOD! This was my first time trying this place, as it came highly recommended by a good friend. I am so happy I tried it. Portion was huge. Very friendly people, which of course is rare anymore. Thank you so much!. I will definitely be back!“
“We stop here pretty regularly. No pictures today, because we were coming in from a school event and everyone was SUPER hungry. The nice thing about Wing Hing is that ee can get things that aren't on the menu. My wife and I were able to get beef and string beans as a combo meal. They don't even have beef and string beans on the menu. Our vegetarian can get a nice meal with steamed broccoli and a side if sweet and sour sauce for dipping and whatever. The food (4 meals) was ready in 20 minutes. Everything hot, fresh and delicious. Too much to eat in one meal, so leftovers HOORAY. REALLY... try the beef and string bean combo if you love string beans. It's awesome.“
“I am extremely I’m telling you extremely picky about spring rolls. I will not eat it if it’s not crunchy and taste fresh. I tried it and just like a wine kind of sewer after about 30 seconds I knew that I had magic. Please enjoy everyone!“
“Authentic place. No menu, no sides, no cards, cash only. If you're looking to walk in and get some delicious no frills food this is your place. The duck was fantastic and comes with a nice sauce on the side. It was about $20 for half a duck. Looking forward to trying so more things they offer. No for the faint of heart, they pull the full duck down and chop it up right in front of you. Don't mind the complaining reviews, this place is definitely more old school but worth the stop“
“I remember when my mother told me there were new ppl running the restaurant now... I was worried, as her first experience wasn't great...The food portions were different and she didn't enjoy her shrimp egg foo young. Fast forward to Christmas eve, we wanted to have Chinese for our family dinner. The restaurant I wanted to get food from said it was at least an hr wait, so that was a no go. I decided to give my old fave spot a try, and boy am I glad I did! My large order was only a 20-25 minute wait, the food was delicious, and the customer service was excellent! I miss the lady that was previously there, but the new young lady is just as awesome. She even helped me carry all the food to the car, and making sure I was safe. Thank you, you were definitely appreciated!!“
“SO good. Best general tsos I've ever had. The combo in enough for 2 people, the quart is enough for 3. Every time we've ordered take out it's been faster than expected. We have ordered large take out orders and they have gotten it all correct. Highly recommend!“
“Tried it for the first time first time earlier in the week and came back this weekend. I really like this place for American style Chinese food. Last time, my husband picked it up for me so I had no idea what it was like inside. I had kung pao shrimp which is always my go to when trying a new place. It was soo good. I asked for it extra spicy and it was everything I asked for. The portion was huge. I had it for a few meals. I also enjoyed the crab rangoon. There was a ton of filling. Today, my husband and I just wanted a quick bite so we split a vegetable fried rice and spring rolls. I asked if we could dine in since we were on the go. She said we would just order at the counter then she brought out plates and plastic utensils for us. The woman working was very nice. The rice was great! It was overflowing and had tons of vegetables. We also got some spring rolls. I personally think that they are homemade but I'm not for sure. My husband liked everything as well and he's pretty picky. This place is small. There's only about 5 tables and it's really more just a take out spot but we were just running errands so we ate it there today. I highly recommend checking it out. I feel like I found a hidden gem. Not sure how I just found this place this week when I have passed by it a million times.“
“The best Chinese food in the city . I live west but I travel to the east just for their food. It’s like their Chinese food is premium top tier compared to others . They have nice portions of food . You have a choice of shrimp, chicken or vegetable fried rice with no upcharge. Every meal come with a shrimp egg roll( nice size) . But Christmas Eve I came in got the number 6 I believe which is the pepper steak in rice with extra broccoli. In this is the day that I have to discontinue coming here I received food poisoning which I am still recovering from. I’m really sad about this because I can no longer eat Chinese food because I am scared. But I will say out of 6 years of eating here they have the best service and best Chinese food I’ve ever had . I will still recommend but b cautious .Vegetarian options: Vegetable fried rice is really good. The vegetable soup also very good.“
“Amazing place the only Asian restaurant that my family and I will order from! We have been ordering for about two years now, the crab rangoons and dumplings are absolutely delicious! My brother and myself usually get the general chaos extra xxxx spicy as for my daughter and wife sesame chicken is there favorite but I have never had a problem with service nor the great price they offer it for!“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant. Always a good experience coming here. However, recently they changed ownership I think and no longer offer the rolls with lunch. They charge you for them. But other than that, I do love this place. Great food and friendly staff.“
“The food continues to be consistently good. Even under stress of having to work well into retirement this family restaurant endures. You owe it to yourself to enjoy the quiet nostalgic atmosphere of the dining room. They outlasted Szechuan Garden. They didn't turn into a nightclub like Mao Jin Lao. It's good humble food from a hole in the wall. That's the best kind.“
“Delicious food with huge portion sizes. Got the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, dumplings, and crab rangoon. No complaints about any of it! The egg rolls were crunchy and delicious and the fried rice had a nice flavor. This will definitely be my go-to spot for Chinese food.“
“.y family and I have literally been coming here about 10 years and the service and quality hasn't changed. Wonderful food and drinks! Quality customer service. Check your receipt before you pay though. Tried to charge me full price for a senior citizen and a 9 year old...“
“In my top 2 Chinese food places, reasonable price, great food, not very much of an actual dining room seems I usually only see Chinese people eating the traditional Chinese food dining in, I have not tried the traditional menu yet but looks very “
“I grew up in the Toronto area and had a great selection of dim sum restaurants there. This place brings back those memories in terms of flavor, atmosphere, tea selection, and plus it's push cart style! The hargow, siu mei, cha siu bow, braised chicken feet, lor mai gai (lotus leaf wrapped sticky rice with chicken), and tripe all tasted VERY good and is, so far, the BEST flavored in this city. I also really dig the good tea selection, which for OG dim sum-goers, is essential to good dim sum experience.Recommendations: Go early (I.e right when it opens on weekends, 11am) and youll have first dibs on the piping hot dim sum selection coming off the steam ovens. if you go 45min to 1hr after it opens, expect some wait time for table AND food (which honestly is part of the dim sum experience). Dim sum is a time to sit down with friends and family to catch up over a cup of nice tea...not a really an eat-and-go affair. Also, if you find you aren't able to get the food you want coming out on the push cart, just let the server know and they might be able to get you something straight from the kitchen.Parking: Strip plaza style parking with over 20 spotsKid-friendliness: wooden high chairs available“
“The staples of all GOOD American Chinese takeout spots!! You can tell the fryer is clean and the sauces are F-ing delicious! Nothing over the top fancy, but damn good consistent flavoring. Well worth their great prices!!!! Sweet Sour Chicken = On Point!“
“Been going here for 18 years. Best food and service. Although they shut down the inside and it's just takeout, the atmosphere was nice and cozy before covid. Me and my family love coming here. We can't find other places to top this one. Highly recommend.“
“A not so hidden gem. Finally some authentic Chinese food around here. Dishes come out lightning quick as per usual Chinese restaurant way. Piping hot. Fresh off the pan. Flavors are super close to what it should be. You can tell when the head chef is there vs when he's not. Love coming here for my comfort foods: hot and sour soup, mapo tofu, fish, yang chow fried rice, beef chow fun. Service is quick and polite. The seating option is pretty decent. The key point which I appreciate is THEY DONT JUDGE IF YOU ARE DINING BY YOURSELF. Particularly, they don't judge how much you order if you are a lone diner dining in. You know what I mean. You want that variety but you're by yourself. You want to order 3-4 entrees. Too many times you have a waitress tell you that's too much for one person. Well they don't do that here! Thank you!“
“I highly recommend Wongs garden. The staff is phenomenal, but I had the pleasure of knowing Lynn. Her cheerful attitude is extremely contagious and puts a smile on my face whenever I walk in.. I order food every other week and when I place my order, she already knows who’s putting the order in.. I really hope the new owners keep her on as she is the face of that restaurant in my opinion.. In 16 years ordering food here I’ve never had a bad complaint about their food, and they take pride in what they do.. Lynn, I hope this finds you well, and I hope they keep you on when they transfer ownership. You are genuinely a wonderful person.“
“Wow, what can I say. Best Asian food I’ve had in a long time. Peking duck was amazing, all of the various rolls I tried were great, exceptionally fresh. The drinks were also very well made, and tasted amazing, even the mocktails were very good, same amount of effort put into them as the normal cocktails. Dessert was also amazing, had the cheesecake.Parking: Ton of spots, very large lot.“
“I called my order in .for pickup April 16,2024. Everything was delicious. ,fresh. Sweet and sour chicken combination plate, sesame chicken combination plate, chicken foo young. I do not know who made the food on April 16. But I would like to thank you and the young lady who answered the phone.“
“Favorite Chinese food!! Haven't had any bad experiences except for on new years eve. I waited over a hour when she told me 20 mins. People who came in after me and ordered received there food before mine and when I finally got back up to the register she goes ummm can I help you, YEAH I WANT MY FOOD! Come to find out if had been sitting on the counter in the back for over 15 mins getting cold“
“Excellent Chinese food!! The general tso chicken was delicious. It had just the right amount of spice and the breading on the chicken stayed crunchy even with sauce all over it (not the case with a lot of Chinese restaurants). The beef lo mein was a favorite. The whole family couldn’t get enough. The chicken gai kow was good but could use more garlic for flavor. The chicken fried rice wasn’t great but the egg rolls were cooked to perfection. Everything was packaged nicely and appropriately priced. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to place another order.“
“What I like about Tokyo sushi is it's a fuss-free unpretentious experience. You can go have reasonably priced sushi that will not shock you. The ramen, however leaves a lot to be desired. But if you have no expectations and want an affordable place to have lunch, it works.“
“Based on two visits, one recently and one several years ago, I'm giving them a 4. I've been unable to nail the perfect dish here for me yet, but again I've only been here twice. They offer a large menu so there are many dishes I'd still like to try! Tonight I had their pan fried dumplings and they were very tasty but I wasn't a fan of the sauce that they came with. I also had their pan fried chicken with a lot of veggies, and it was ok. The sauce was blah, at least for me. I had to add a lot of chili oil to give it some flavor. Others may love it as it is, but I wasn't a huge fan. It might be because I ordered more of a Cantonese entree and I'm more of a Szechuan fan... The lady behind the counter was very nice and the place was clean. My food came out fairly quick as well and there's enough of the pan fried noodles for at least two meals. It's a no frills restaurant and most of their business is carryout.“
“I use to live close by a few years ago and the food was always good and reasonably priced and they stay open later than most. Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. Just disappointed that they haven't upgraded their payment system to accept anything other than cash. I had to stop by the ? on the way.“
“Carry out only its being remodeled I had relatives in from out of town .this is the freshest carry out we have ever had the jumbo shrimp is truely jumbo we purchased several different meals everyone was blown away by the flavor do yourself a favor treat yourself at this restaurant reasonable prices I would give it 6 stares if I couldKid-friendliness: Staff very very friendlyParking: Parking lot needs some attention butt fine other wise.“
“So delicious! I just moved around the corner from Jade Tiki and thought I would give it a try and I'm so glad I did! They give you a lot of food for the price, service was friendly (although it's carry-out only). I tried the Sesame Chicken and it was sooooo good. Some of the best Chinese I've had“
“Would always drive from west 8 mile to east 8 mile just to get their food that hadn't seemed to change since I first discovered this place years ago while attending school on the east side...now I'm in Taylor and having a difficult time finding good Chinese food...was in the neighborhood and decided to stop there to see if they still got it...best shrimp egg foo young ever, almond chicken could have been a little more tender...egg roll was so good...so was the fried rice, it was light and fluffy...have to go back...and the staff was so friendly.“
“We have ordered from here multiple times. I’ve only tried the General Tso’s chicken…because it’s exactly the way I like it every time so far. The spring roll is delicious and the egg roll is good, especially for someone that does not prefer them. The fried rice that comes with the combination plate has good flavor and it’s not dry.I suggest giving them a try“
“This is the only place that I get my Chinese food from; usually my first or second stop after arriving in Detroit. Shrimp fried rice, crab rangoon, beef and broccoli and pepper steak are my favs. Their food has been consistently good, and they have remained in the same location for over 30 years! Open Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Mondays. Check out their menu here:“
“I've been spit on in the lobby of Rikshaw house by homeless. There's maybe no roof? When it's raining outside, it'll rain on you inside, too. I still come back for the food. Here's the deal: Chinese food sucks at most places, you have to find what you like best and go there for only that thing. Rikshaw has the best chicken pieces AND the best sauce flavor and texture for their chicken dishes. The prices make me feel like I'm still getting "too much food" for what I pay and that's important when other options are twice the cost for something with no leftovers. They used to be cash only but take card now.VIP dish: General's Chicken - it's more savory and has tons of onions.Honorable mention: Beef & Broccoli or Special Lo Mein (all meats)If you get Shrimp fried rice, get it with extra green onions and a side of gravy.Parking: Probably some nails and glass in the parking lot. Good thing you're used to it in Detroit.“
“OK, as with others with fond memories of Kim's, our search continued for a decent place near us (Somerset Mall area). Reviews were mixed so worth a shot.Anyway, exceeded expectations with one caveat - carryout always loses something on the ride back home, so here's my opinions on the dishes we ordered. The ABC was excellent - large portion, excellent gravy - probably 90% of the quality at Kim's (that came right out of the kitchen and not in Styrofoam). Egg rolls excellent - crisp, good filling and duck sauce.Big hit with our vegetarian was the vegetables with tofu (fried)- I even liked it - again very large portion and cooked perfectly. The Honey Chicken entree was also excellent and another very large portion cooked perfectlyAlso big fan of Hot and Sour and there's had a slightly different taste that was a take it or leave it, probably choose the egg drop which was very good. Also ordered the Tofu Pad Thai (long story) and it was very good - probably 85% of what you would get at a good Thai place. Bottom line - very good to excellent - will return for sure and the online ordering for a future time worked great“
