“Today I went into Culvers on my lunch around 11 am. The food was good and fresh and the bathroom is clean but the entire time I’m eating I hear “The boss” as she refers to herself yelling at one of the workers.. telling this worker that they will be fired and other disciplinary measures .That should be handled in the office not screaming across the floor. Overall the location is clean and the workers are nice. Someone needs to teach “the boss” how to talk to the workers. This is one of the reasons a lot of places face a high turnover rate. Other than that great food and great atmosphere.“

“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. “I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. Here’s the Scoop came within 2 hours of my inital panicked phone call with enough ice cream for all 450+ kids. If you are in need of an ice cream truck in the future, please consider them. “Welcoming and friendly staff! It’s a cute little spot for frozen yogurt. They’ve got the classic flavors like cookies & cream, chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, and strawberry, plus a few fun extras. There’s a good variety of toppings, and they all tasted fresh.

You don’t get to add your own toppings, which is a bit of a bummer since that’s part of the fun of self-serve froyo—but the girl who helped us was super nice.

It came out to $17 for two cups, which is about what I’d expect. Just a heads up: there’s a $5 minimum if you’re using a card.

First impressions: the store was spotless. You can actually see the team mixing dough, scooping, and baking everything right there. It feels more like a bakery than a chain. The staff greeted me right away, didn’t rush me, and even gave me honest opinions on which cookies were actually their favorites instead of just upselling. That alone made the experience feel more genuine.

Now the cookies—unreal. I don’t know what kind of magic they use, but these things are huge, warm, and soft in the middle without being raw. I tried the classic chocolate chip first just to get a baseline, and it might honestly be the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had from any bakery. Perfect balance of crispy edges and a gooey center.

Then I tried the weekly specials, and that’s where they really hooked me. Every flavor actually tastes like what it’s supposed to taste like. The textures, the toppings, the fillings—nothing feels lazy or thrown together. You can tell they put real effort into each recipe, and the presentation is ridiculous. These things look like they belong on a commercial.

Price-wise, yeah, they’re a little more expensive than regular cookies, but these aren’t regular cookies. One is basically a dessert all by itself, and the quality backs it up. I don’t mind paying for something that actually tastes like premium ingredients were used.

Overall, Crumbl surprised me. I thought it was just hype, but I get it now. Great service, great atmosphere, and honestly some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back—probably more often than I should.“

I'm 32 and married now and have almost a lifetime of memories associated with Miracle Soda Shoppe. It is a place where a kid can literally be surrounded by the innocence of childhood.
