The salad was okay A bit small and you had gotten four yoza with the combination platter. “At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

We were welcomed so warmly, all of the staff greeted us and gave is their insight on what’s popular and what they recommend.

The food was out together production-line style yet every bite was delicious. The vegetables were crips and fresh. The chicken was still not and perfectly seasoned and the rice was an aromatic base to the meal.

As we were leaving we were asked what we thought and how the staff recommendations worked out for us; my answer, 10/10.

Their sandwiches on their own house made gf bread is delicious and their gf soups are also absolutely divine! Considering how pricey most gf items are they keep their sandwiches and soups at an affordable price!“

“I noticed the all-you-can-eat promotion but knew I wouldn’t eat that much, so I went with a smaller plate instead. I ordered the cheese tortellini with Alfredo and chicken, but it was disappointing. There wasn’t enough sauce, and the flavor was off, way too salty. The chicken didn’t taste great either, and I wasn’t even given the option to choose grilled chicken. The breadsticks were just average.

I’ve seen better feedback on their red sauce dishes, so maybe those are a safer choice. I was also let down that they don’t offer pesto or cacio e pepe, which are usually my go-to options.“

“Not only was an item missing, but the app auto filled in a $5 tip I didn't authorize on a pickup order, when I double checked what I had ordered. I specifically put $0 for a pickup, but when I double checked my order, it must've put it back to $5 before I hit pay. I didn't realize it was there until I saw my bank account charge, and customer service is an email note with zero actual human interaction. Also, the staff members were having a full on friend conversation with a customer, and made my wife stand there for several minutes, waiting to pick up the food.“
