“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

“Always enjoy your beer but why does your bathroom resemble a jail cell? Weird, dark, lighting and dark colors. Also, that stainless steal sink that stays on for maybe a fraction of a second.

Who saw this aesthetic and thought, I'd feel comfortable in my most vulnerable state here.

“food is usually very good but the last time i had shrimp dinner and the shrimp were fried too long, almost burnt, and a week ago had fish dinner and same thing fish were fried too long. Just need to reduce the frying time for those two items“

“Ginza made for a nice dinner after an evening out. I tried a California roll and their tonkotsu ramen. Both were good, but the noodles for the ramen were just slightly overcooked. The flavor of the broth was excellent and deeply savory, however, and the toppings were good. I guess it evens out. It’s a good spot for noodles or sushi, and they have a menu with some decent variety. It’s definitely worth a try if you like either of those foods.“

“The quality of the food from Thai Table is a step above the other Thai food options in GR. The curries are delicious and complex, the pad thai actually has authentic fish sauce, and all of the ingredients are fresh and tasty. I tried their spin on yakisoba recently and was shocked by how good the vegetables in the dish were - I'm so used to frozen vegetables being used in these kinds of dishes that having good-quality fresh ingredients made the dish stand out compared to what we get from other restaurants in the area.“

“Applebee’s is the kind of place that knows its lane and stays in it—casual dining with familiar favorites. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but sometimes, that’s exactly what you want.

The burger was a standout—cooked just right, stacked with toppings, and packed with flavor. And the mozzarella sticks? Perfectly crispy on the outside with that satisfying cheese pull inside. Definitely a solid appetizer choice.

What really made the experience, though, was Kyle. Easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a while. Quick with refills, checked in without hovering, and made sure everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell he actually cares about the customer experience.

If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food and even better service, Applebee’s—and Kyle—won’t disappoint.“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

The family who owns this family is very sweet. Definitely would recommend going if you’re near the area and need to stop by for a quick lunch. “Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach.
