“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

“We always have a pleasant experience here. Tons of creative, classic, and custom options with a wonderful and fun community and staff to back it up. Very much pet and kid friendly. A few scattered benches and open areas to hang out. I'd go as far to say there are areas where sensory needs can be regulated! Always a fun-loving and welcoming environment!“

“Eating at LON'S is like eating in a family kitchen. With an authentic diner experience. The only way to get better pancakes is to make them at home. I'll vouch for their breakfast menu. The lunch and dinner is hit or miss.
The staff know the regulars by name. They even remember the sometimers like me.“

“The woman who owns it has been there for 15 years. The hot dogs were beautiful and prepared the best I have ever seen. This is far better than a coney Island. My daughter got the nicest veggie dog I've ever seen. Worth the stop right near eastern market.“
“Giving five stars because you guys are awesome people and the community loves you!Constructive feedback regarding why people have stopped coming;•The lady at the front counter takes a bit longer than is preferred considering most people are just stopping for a "quick" bite to eat.•The prices are a bit high. $6/each ?If you had a $2 Tuesday you'd have a line down the hall at least $3.•It looks as though you've watered down the coney sauce to save money. If you were to lower your prices and speed up service this would be a no brainier.I hate to see good business' fail for silly reasons especially if it's as simple as someone giving them honest feedback.It can be difficult to give good people negative feedback. But it is important to do this, especially if we want to see businesses in our community thriving.“

Great food, consistent customer service that makes you feel right at home, and the staff has been a real blessing to me, my husband, and our children! “This was my first time at Zeffs.i was headed downtown to Jury duty and needed breakfast. It was 6:30 am. The employees were so pleasant early in the morning which was a plus. The other patrons were a morning delight. The food was delicious and tasty. The wait wasn't long at all 😁. The outside of the restaurant was clean. The inside was clean and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat... especially early in the morning.“

“Ordered doordash through them last night and I just want to say THANK YOU FOR STAPLING THE BAG!! this is highly important and more fast food places should follow and it should be mandatory. The food was amazing!!!! onion rings could’ve been a little more fresh but all in all it was good. I got the queso bowl with spicy crispy chicken and there were no chewy pieces thank god (i’m pretty picky with chicken so this was 9/10 for me, VERY good) my husband got the loaded fries and the bacon was on the salty side but i mean it’s bacon so. but them securing our bag was huge for me because that’s a safety guard for my food. I hear a lot of stories about doordashers touching peoples food especially with there being easy access.. so again, thank you.“

“Wonderful food and service we had about 25 people on May the 29th and Matthew was our waiter and he did a wonderful job of help setting up things getting ready for it and helping out tremendously and doing the whole order of 25 people very very well we was very impressed Matthew is a wonderful waiter and that is why I come to Coney Island and we will be doing our lunches here more often The moose ladies of woodhaven moose used to be Taylor And thanks to the cooks everything was wonderful thank you so much You will be seeing more of us“

“I'm from Florida and we don't have this restaurant there, I so looked forward to getting a footlong at A&W and got one but for some reason it was different, not as good, they changed the quality of the bun and skimpy on the chili, but the root beer was great as usual“

“I was just at Senate Coney Island for the first time in a long time and it was exactly what I needed. The coney was solid. The chili cheese fries were great. I really like the shredded cheese they use instead of the liquid canned cheese. But to each their own. And I got a Togo breakfast sandwich for my roommate and they really enjoyed it too. And the service was exceptional. Will definitely visit again when breakfast or coney is what I’m craving.“

“I always look for a place when traveling that feels like home. This is that place. We ate breakfast here 4 days in a row and were never disappointed. Great food, and even more important great people. Visit these folks and you won’t be disappointed. Next time my travels brings me back to Detroit I will be back. In the meantime we will miss visiting with you each morning.
My go to breakfast this week was an omelette with mushrooms, corned beef, and sausage with rye toast and not pictured grits. I’m a bit of a grit snob and these were great.“
