“Great bakery! They have unique flavor combos on their food. I had a snickerdoodle cookie with fennel seed that was delicious! My cousin had the apple maple pie and she said it was yummy. They had a savory hand pie that day that my cousin bought as well. I've attended a hand pie cooking class there. Everything is hand made and unique.“

Although they were out of a lot of bagel flavors, it gave me the chance to try something I wouldn’t have usually gotten so I got the Asiago bagel with the scallion cream cheese and babyyyyyy, it was SO GOOD! I got their plain cream cheese too in case I didn’t like the scallion one and even that one was good. It didn’t taste like your regular Philadelphia cream cheese. I will be back. Only thing I’d do differently is not get my bagel toasted, it made it kick of tough but other than that, 10/10“

“Had been following for a while, and was finally in the neighborhood. I'm always on the hunt for a good, buttery cookie. My day has arrived. I've traveled the burbs, downtown, and everywhere in between looking for a cookie made with butter, and you can taste it. Ordered 4 choco chip, 2 PB, Shortbread. Omggggg!!!! This shortbread was alast minute add on, so glad I did. It's buttery, tender, not overly sweet. I think I'm in love. Thank you Good Cookies for answering my prayers. This isn't exactly close for me, but definitely worth it.They have a nice lounge, seating area for enjoying your cookies and a hot beverage. “I am from Los Angeles and stumbled into a video about this place before my trip to Detroit last week (Sep 23 thru 27). Of course I had to check it out. It did not disappoint. That falafel sandwich was SO good! The falafel itself was soft and green on the inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside. (The cook was nice enough to give me a piece of falafel ahead of time to appreciate what I was getting myself into).The sandwich also had roasted eggplant which was perfectly done, lightly fried cauliflower, French fries, a simple cucumber tomato and lettuce topping with a splash of sauce that was bbq-like that added even more flavor. I’m ready to call it the best sandwich in the entire state of Michigan. We need something like this back in LA. It would be a hit. I highly recommend that sandwich. I also recommend you buy some bread on the way out.

“Best Sweet Potatoe Pies EVER! Grew up in this neighborhood. I always came back for Holidays-especially Thanksgiving. Due to COVID I haven’t been out much but I’m just now hearing they are permanently closed. The number is disconnected as well. If true, this is definitely devastating to say the least!

Update: New Owner, I went by and pies were sold out, I’ve heard people have been disappointed and that the recipe is not the same. I rather not find out, it’s a wrap fa me!
