“New menu was amazing. We had the potatoes, the scallops, burrata, and mushroom with shiitake dish. Burrata was hands down my favorite, thing. Perfect combination!! Highly recommend everything I got and the service was perfect, I mean like I finished my water and by the time my glass hit the table it was refilled. This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere inside, I personally love plants and that’s the first thing you notice when you walk in the door. Check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!“

“My first time here so I ordered chicken tenders they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the I inside, they have make your own bowls and some with lamb beef or chicken with rice sautéed onions and spring mix, you gotta try it yourself.“

“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

“If you’re in Detroit and looking for an unforgettable meal, I can’t recommend Lena enough. The food was absolutely excellent from start to finish — the carrots and sweet potatoes were especially memorable (seriously, don’t skip them!). Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor.

The staff is just as wonderful as the food — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you can, try to get a table by the kitchen. It adds such a fun, energetic vibe to the experience. And if you get a chance, say “hi” to Bella!

“If I knew how to post a picture to this review I would. The food looked amazing but when I lifted the potatoes up from my breakfast bowl it was so much grease. Edit. After speaking with them they corrected the situation and assured me it was a one time thing. I appreciate the fast response and them taking the time to talk to me. “Mike’s Grill never disappoints.

I ordered the mixed grill combo and it was outstanding — two perfectly cooked chicken kebabs, flavorful chicken kofta, delicious rice, warm pita bread, fresh garlic sauce, hummus, and crisp, fresh veggies. Every bite was satisfying and clearly made with care.

What really keeps me coming back, though, is the consistency. I’ve been coming here for six years, and the food and service are always phenomenal. It’s rare to find a place that delivers great quality every single time, and Mike’s Grill does exactly that.

There’s something special about being able to enjoy an amazing meal at a great price while also supporting a fantastic local business. Highly recommend — this is a staple spot for me and always will be.“

“I had my 40th birthday at this location, and everything was wonderful. The staff was great, the food was good, and the service was smooth from start to finish. I created a personalized menu for my guests that included Deboned Chicken, Chicken Shawarma, Alfredo, and Salmon. We also enjoyed salad and wine, and some guests ordered cocktails from the bar. Not one complaint - just a great night all a dining experience!! Also my party consisted of 35 guest!“

“Now this place is amazing. It has everything you want. The food is fantastic. Lots to pick from and the guys behind the counter are not your typical store food chefs. They are making art with food. Your mouth will know the difference. Plus they have a full store of goods and drinks. It's a one stop shop for basically anything you need. The staff is very cool. One guy reminds me of Sal for Deadwood. It's fun just to visit. They also deliver if you don't want to go there. Reminds me of some southern cooking. One guybhas 25 yrs in the place cooking and creates some amazing dishes like chicken alfredo stuff potatoes. Or Lamb chops. Wingdigs are out of this world. Full kitchen with lots of choices.“
