“The staff is always welcoming and kind! They have the best food selection for a coffee shop (in my opinion). They come up with unique, but DELICIOUS, menu items that always bring me back! Stovetop occupies a convenient stop off 31 and welcomed me in just moments before closing time. Staff was friendly and informative, even offering a sample of their Steeped Coffee Brew Bags as I mentioned we were camping for the week.

I went with their Wildflower Blend and Uganda Natural Process, the former truly satisfying my desire for a light, floral roast that is difficult to find, yet so necessary, in a small beach town.

Stovetops packaging is clever and comprehensive, sharing details on brewing and the beans inside with colorful language indicative of its locale. The branding and illustration style offer a friendly face to those who may find third-wave’s more clinical branding trends intimidating.

While I hope to see more roasters pop up along the lake in the coming years, Stovetop is sure to remain a regular stop for us on every pass through Holland.“

“My husband and I visited Saugatuck for the first time this past weekend so had to try this cute coffee place. Great service - they were busy and friendly. I had the caramel cold brew and my husband had the mocha latte — both were great. The whole vibe of the place was just great.“

“My Sister and I came to the drive through at 7 am today (10/02/24) and the baristas working got our order out so quickly. Less than 10 minutes from start to finish. We got 2 different 24 oz lattes with coconut milk and 2 perfectly toasted custom bragels. My only regret is not getting their names for this review. Sorry 🥲

Dietary restrictions: My sister can't have eggs and they took her request for her bragel to have a second sausage instead of an egg patty in stride. Just said "of course!" And got to it.“

“Holy Moly the Walton New York location is scummy and filthy. I literally go there if NOTHING open. Not to mention the "manager" is a giant POS. I have a feeling if "YOU" ate the pre-made food. Two days later YOU will be in hospital with food poisoning. There's 1 employee lady that super cool. You will know when you meet her in the A.M. Here is a picture of the broken cc machine, that's been broke for like 4 months.“

“Good gas station and always competitive with Meijer down the street. Turning right out of there can get tricky with traffic on 16th. Don't use the road to the west for right turns because the light will back past that. Turning left out of Speedway is going to be tricky and require light traffic and a bit of luck.“

I've seen my fair share of bizarre moments, but this one stands out. While at McDonald's, a woman stormed in, visibly upset and demanding to see the manager. Naturally, everyone stopped to see what was going on.

Her frustration? She had parked too close to the car ahead, and another car had parked too close behind her, trapping her in. McDonald's, trying to be helpful, brought her food out early since her order was ready before the others. But instead of leaving once she could move, she chose to park and come inside—just to yell at the manager.

You really can’t make this stuff up. It’s a reminder of the challenges fast food employees face, dealing with customers who let their bad days spill over onto them.“
