“The absolute best fried chicken in Michigan. We were coming back from vacation at 2am craving chicken. This place was open. We were not expecting anything and OMG this was amazing. My wife and I will never go anywhere else. We will drive over an hour to have this over and over again. Customer service was phenomenal and food was hot. My favorite ?!“

“Been wanting to try this place for a while now so we finally stopped last night on our way home 15 minutes before closing and they were still so nice and accommodating.. After finally deciding on 3 dinners, it was ready pretty quick and the food was sooo good! Definitely recommend and will be goin back!“

“Just had a couple of chicken on saj sammiches. Dude told me it's normally just garlic and pickles on there, but let me do it up as I liked. Garlic, onions, lettuce, hot sauce (good heat on that), parsley. He threw them on the grill, and man, that saj wrap crisps up way better than pita. The amount of chicken he put on the sandwiches was shockingly large. It was spilling out both ends. I highly recommend this place. I'm a beef guy, but they made me appreciate the chicken.“

“My little family of four went to Mr. Chicken for the first time (6pm, Sept 11, 24) and it was fabulous! My 12 year old grandson and my two daughters enjoyed every last bite that we could make ourselves eat.
The restaurant is old, cute and inviting! We were all very comfortable.
Also, a huge shout out to our waitress. We believe there was only one waitress and she was exceptionally great!
Kid-friendliness: My grandson is always such a nervous little guy in the restaurants, but he was so comfy here. We laughed and talked as if we were at home!“

“My first time picking up food from here and I’m extremely impressed the catfish is amazing, the whole wings are delicious and the Wingdings dipped in the bbq sauce was so good I didn’t wanna share any. This is gonna be my place to go to from now on for any fried fish and chicken, and will recommend it to all my friends and family!!!“

“This lowkey restaurant blew my mind. I just showed up there and had a blast. The food is mostly fried food but it really tastes good. I enjoyed my experience and the service was magnificent. Foods are prepared hot and fresh and ready to be served with some insanely cheap prices. I would definitely recommend this eatery. If you really want finger licking fried chicken and top tier wedges then come to this place I promise you will not be disappointed. ???“

“Ordered through Doordash at 10PM on Christmas evening! What a lifesaver. Dark meat chicken is so good. Lightly breaded (if any breading at all). The skin is very crispy and tasty. Ate it with pickled jalapeno and fried pickles. Reasonable price.“

“The Gentleman working told us we would be back once we mentioned it was our first time trying this place. He was ABSOLUTELY correct! The chicken was fantastic! Potatoes were amazing! Rolls were ok but not bad, will definitely try a different side. I would completely recommend this location over any other big chain like KFC, or Popeyes. The chicken was hot and oh so crispy and juicy! Found our new go to chicken place!

“Pollo Chapin is a fantastic little lunch or dinner spot in Southwest Detroit. If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“

“Now I have been going to these KKC places but this one has them beat, I just found my chicken spot , the main reason I was going was they have fried corn on cob and being from the south I was missing it. But I found it, if only they would make a restaurant, but theses little snack spots are still good. It's in a citco station on Jefferson, find it trust you will like it“

“Got them on 7.23.23 No meat on the chicken. Very dry chicken. The biscuits were so burnt it was black. Unable to eat it. This was my first time back since it reopened. We will not go back.“

“I work at the mall and eat there everyday for lunch. Great customer service in all of the food court that I have experienced. Quick service with very helpful people. There are so many choices to choose from and I love the food. Definitely recommend“

“This had to be the best KFC I’ve had in a very long time, maybe the best in my life. Don’t know who’s working there now, but props to ya!The downside being that this place doesn’t have a drive-thru. But that doesn’t bother me much.“
