“Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) is an upstart Liquor Store/Gas Station chicken restaurant. I had 2 pieces of fish and two thighs with 3 Jalapeño peppers. Delicious. This store sprinkles a lemon-pepper seasoning on the chicken as a topping. Filled my hunger and satisfied my capsaicin addiction. Chicken was hot, flavorful, and juicy. I've been to other KKC stores that haven't been as good with quality (possibly because of the time of day), but these guys had it right. Juicy flavorful meat, crunchy skin, and not bad for the price. 2 pieces of fish, 2 thighs, and 3 Jalapeño peppers for $13.60. Will go again.“

“***This location is actually in Taylor, MI (Telegraph Rd, near I-94), NOT in Detroit as receipt indicates*** This store has the worst service! The worst attitutes! The worst training! No common sense! Because of past experiences at this location, I have literally not been here since well before the pandemic. It was probably 2018 when I last patronized this location because the service has been so terrible. Today, 11/29/2023 (3:36 PM), I decided to try to give them a chance. I was optimistic that after 5 years or more, surely the service has improved. Sadly, that was not the case. I arrived and proceeded to the drive thru window since it was cold out. Besides, I was just there for 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. A straight forward order, nothing complicated or overwhelming. Only one other car in line at the time, which was in front of me. A reasonably quick in&out is what I had my fingers crossed for... but no dice. It took awhile as usual. But I still had hope there would be no issues, again because my order was straight forward, simple... 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. Well, when it was my turn to pull up to the window, I did just that. No one was there. But I patiently waited and eventually an African American female (per my receipt, Host: Drive-thru 60069) showed up on the other side of the turnstile window. She said nothing, proceeded to push out my order bag, then reversed the turnstile back because (I'm assuming) she realized it had not been paid for yet. Then she walked away from the window. She still has not greeted me nor said a word to me. So I place my credit card under the metal coin holder on the turnstile and ensured that it made a "clank" sound to ensure she knew I placed my payment method on the turnstile so that she could initiate the transaction. She did come back, turned the turnstile to retrieve the card, stood at the window and made a motion which appeared that she swiped my card. Then this is where things get weird, she looked at me then stepped away from the window without giving me my card or order bag which was still sitting near the turnstile (I could see it). So I'm yelling out "Hello... Hello... Hello!" When she came back that's when she quickly placed my card and bag in the turnstile to push out to me. But before she did I proceeded to ask "did you just walk away with my card?". She IMMEDIATELY became irate saying "Didn't nobody walk off with your card!" along with many other choice words I will spare you, the reader of this review, from. But let's just say, she was irate about being questioned about walking away from the window with my card and attempting to convince me that she never walked out of my sight with my card. But if you're not in my sight's view that means you walked away. She then, while communicating in a irate tone, now with the microphone off (but I could still hear her), pushes the turnstile out with my bag and card saying something to the affect of "Ain't nobody trying to lose their job over...". I then grabbed my bag and card and said "I'm questioning why you walked away with my card". She continued to yell with the mic off. I then said, "I need my receipt", so she then (while standing at the window, I might add) printed out my receipt (Drive-thru receipt# 684), placed it in the turnstile and pushed it out to me. I grabbed the receipt to review it and ensure it was indeed my receipt, then she said "The receipt is correct! 2 chicken sandwiches". By that time, and I assume due to the commotion she was making, another employee, African American male wearing a plastic apron, walked up to the window next to her. She continued yelling, while he was trying to get her to calm down, so I said to him "I'm just trying to find out why she walked away from the window with my credit card". She then walked away from the window yelling, as he attempted to de-escalate her, and apologized to me several times for her behavior. Needless to say, I will“

“Tried it for the first time and it was amazing! I got medium heat and to me it was the perfect ratio of spice and flavor. Fries were amazingly seasoned and the mac and cheese was very good. My mozzarella sticks were hot so they had a nice cheese pull. All my food reheated nice as well. My boyfriend got the Dave's hot trio and he says it was so good. Would definitely come back!“

The ice cream mixers pair nicely with how hot the food can be ordered! If you’re doing the hot or spicier options, pair it with the ice cream mixers!“

“This is my go-to place for krunchy chicken. My kids absolutely love it and we love how flavourful their chicken always is. I often stop by here before my kid goes to school because he loves it for lunch. I'm from canton so it's a good 10 minute drive but this place never disappoints in quality. “Clean. Had grilled and fried jumbo chicken tenders, salads, crunch wraos and sweet rolls at the Dearborn location. We tried chicken tenders, the fried chicken sandwich, and grilled chicken sandwich. Fried chicken was good, a little salty but better than being bland, firm but tender, not chewy, moist, and flavorful. Grilled chicken also flavorful but not as salty. Mac & cheese had good flavor but too mushy (overcooked). Sweet rolls were $8 for some, $10 for others. Rolls were baked through great with gooey fillings. OG was our favorite! The biscoff cookie butter flavor didnt come through as much as the cinnamon filling did. Same with the oreo flavor - bit too much cinnamon with the crushed oreos for filling but the topping was great. Peach cobbler was really good but not half as much cinnamon as the biscoff and oreos - surprisingly. Been wanting to try these for months and SO glad we did!“

Normally have great food, great staff ect... however... tonight I belive the manager she was short, bossy, rude, black hair....was very very rude to her staff down talking them, I could tell they where becoming embarrassed. it's okay to correct your team members but you need to do it privately and definitely not in the way she was. also if you ran outta food it's not the customers fault and if you know the prices so we'll, than you should know it's a Friday and you should have food up for your rushes. if she treats her team members like this, how awful must she treat them when the doors are locked?“

“I ordered the 4-piece leg and thigh combo, and it was really good. The chicken was hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The seasoning had great flavor without being overwhelming. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. Ali was very friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. He made the experience even better by being polite and making sure everything was right with my order. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I’d definitely come back again“

“I recently had Krispy Krunchy Chicken cater, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The wings were out of this world—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Seriously, the best wings I’ve ever had. The fries were just as awesome, perfectly seasoned, and super crunchy.

But what really stood out was the quality and freshness of the chicken. You could tell they use top-notch ingredients. Every bite was a joy. The workers were fantastic,friendly, efficient, and made sure everything was set up perfectly. They really went above and beyond to make our event special.

“I suggested my mother order wings for the holiday from here. we have been coming here for 5 years, and have referred many. their website prices does not match in store pricing,, nor their menus.. she ordered a 100 wing dings, website 54.99, in store 79.99. She even called beforehand and confirmed price. when she arrived she was given a different price. So bad customer service and false advertisement. Me & my family won't be returning. I also will be notifying all the people I referred plus letting my co workers at the airport know of this. we will just go to or other spot..he was also rude and disrespectful. buyers beware! “To be honest - I prefer Krispy Krunchy Chicken's biscuits over KFC's - the biscuits already have honey on them here and the chicken is moist and succulent here. Nothing against KFC for that matter, but we frequent this location here at the station frequently and will frequent this location more often!“
