“Upon arriving, Tina greeted me arriving warmly and instructed me where to sit. Since I'd never been there before, Tina explained some about the menu and the establishment. The vanilla cream soda was tasty. I ordered the 1/3 lb burger and fries instead of chips. When the food arrived, I was visually disappointed for a moment because I didn't order a slider but the sandwich i got certainly was. The disappointment disappeared once I picked up the burger. For a small thing, it was definitely hefty. While it wasn't juicy, it was far from dry and well seasoned. The fries, which I'm told are cut up fresh and fried in house in tallow, were a little limp and a bit under seasoned.

Overall, the place was definitely worth the try and I'd probably go back if I'm in town again.“

“Chef Erika Rapp never disappoints and every visit to this wonderful restaurant reaffirms it as my favorite place for our Anniversary dinner. I look forward to the coconut, chorizo and sweet potato steamed muscles that she has had on the fall menu consistently for the last 5 years. And being Gluten Free the care Chef Erika takes to offer many delicious options, means I can always find the perfect meal. Last night the fish dish was perfection, from the perfectly cooked cod, to the savory and slightly sweet delicata squash puree to the textural elements of the crisp broccolini and the crunch of the pomagranate and pepitas. And the dish paired wonderfully with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. After enjoying a basket of gluten free pop-overs (another favorite treat) and appetizers I was stuffed, but the dish was too delicious to leave even one bite on the plate. Our server Miranda was fabulous. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our dining experience. I highly reccommend.“

“Jefferson Express is a great place to eat breakfast it’s located in Toledo, Ohio. The food is very good, the service is great and the atmosphere is nice and friendly. My hat off to the cook. The owner’s and waitress are very friendly and welcoming. If you are ever in town. I do recommend to try it out, please don’t let the outside of the place stop you from going inside to get a great meal. Once you are on the inside you will forget about the outside because the food is delicious and you don’t want to miss out on a great meal.“

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Sausage Gravy was Average but the biscuits were from a can. When you can peel layers its from a can. you can do better than that. you could buy a flat of biscuits better than the canned version.“

“I have gotten them three times twice it was really good good amount third time seeing lazy it was done like crap but I guess nobody's perfect you know every time I just go there about once a month it isn't that bad at all people are decent.“

“Today was our first time here and it’s a really cool place. The staff there are all very friendly especially our server. The food was delicious delicious. It took a bit of time to get our order but there were quite a few full tables when we got there around 11:30. We will definitely be coming back. 💜“

“The Open Faced Prime Rib sandwich, was the best I have had since Red Wells closed their doors. The meat is so flavorful. My waitress Karley who was the sweetest thing, told me they slow roast the meat then slice it. We had the Hocus Pocus Marg flight. Sooo cute and so yummy. The place is gorgeous.“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“Late Sunday lunch/early dinner with the family. We had poutine, ribeye, perch and lobster rolls. Everything was delicious and our server was kind and attentive. Husband got the Sunday best cocktail and loved the dried flowers (he’s currently wearing them like a boutonnière). We can’t wait to come back!“

“Service and meal were excellent. Seated at a small table against the window with curtains encroaching my space. Candle was nice but flower loop around it made the small table more cluttered. It would be best to pull the table away from the curtain and minimize any additional decorations to allow more comfortable space...slightly larger tables or pull them away from the wall would also provide less cramped experience“

“I had them drain the meat before putting it on the chili mac and it has greatly improved the taste. Before that I would spend a ton of time on the toilet. The same goes for their chili dogs. The buns are not soggy anymore. I have no idea why this just isn't a thing but I feel like a lot of your other customers would benefit if you would do this automatically.“

“A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you! I wish I would have got her name.“

“Wanted pizza and places were closed already except them. Unfortunately they didn't have black olives for my pizza like I wanted. BUT finding out one of my favorite food places exists still and some of its food. I have not had Olga snackers in YEARS and this made up for everything. Thank you for the lemonades as well.“
