“We first went to imperial in 2024 on our first visit to Detroit. As soon As we landed, we drove straight here for a meal that we knew would satisfy. The service is always fast and friendly ( ask your server for recommendations for food, drinks, activities they won’t steer you wrong). We opted for the taco of the week ( vegan chorizo and creamy), imperial Sonoran and tostada, as well as the nachos. We were all stuffed and happy. Shout out to Pricilla“

“B. Nektar is an absolute gem! I first tried Zombie Killer years ago at a random bar in Cleveland, then hunted it down at a liquor store near home in the Chicago/NW Indiana area. When it disappeared from shelves, I missed it every single day for about 3 years.

Now that we’ve moved to Toledo, we realized we’re just over an hour away from the taproom and I’m so glad we finally visited. The selection of beers, ciders, and meads is incredible. The vibes are super chill and fun, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. They really made the experience even better. On top of that, the taproom has a great selection of games, which made the hours fly by with friends; we didn’t even notice it was well past dinner time!

We stocked up to take home (can’t wait to share the durian one with family in Chicago), and honestly, this is the best brewery we’ve found since Phase Three back in Chicago. Nothing else has compared until B. Nektar. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This is a hidden gem in Ferndale, MI. The staff was great and the food was good with generous portions. The beer selection was amazing. I was a first time visitor on August 21, 2025. I signed up for the rewards program and received $10.95 off my bill. I will definitely visit this restaurant over and over again.“

“I live in the neighborhood, like the bar however this outdoor bar could reinvent itself as a beachside surf bar, serve tropical cocktails and beer, paint everything baby blue with surf boards and coconuts and actually use the rooftop.But the WAB chooses to be a boring monopoly instead.“

“This place is amazing! We were waiting for a comedy show to start, we weren't sure about it at first, but felt right at home when we walked in! Sarah was our waitress, who is also a 15 year experienced bartender on the side, was AMAZING to say the least! She was so friendly, helped make us crazy custom shots and was happy to do it!!

Umm they had FUNNEL CAKE FRIES! yeah, like French fries coated in FUNNEL cake batter!!

“Stopped here while I was in Michigan visiting family. The staff was very nice. They had lots of vegan options and everything that was vegan was labeled. I decided to get an acai bowl. Both options had a rawnola topping and because the bowls were labeled raw and dairy free but not vegan, I asked if the rawnola had raw honey in it. They said they didn't know, so I added almond butter on top of the acai bowl instead of the rawnola. The acai bowl was pretty good, but a little small for the price. I also tried a raw apple fig ball which was yummy! Overall this was a cool place to go for lunch, but a little pricey. They had lots of options (including several raw vegan options) to choose from and pretty much all ingredients were labeled. They had a few counter seats and one outside table for seating.“

Love to go to The CORNER Restaurant & DetAXE to have food, drinks, and sing KARAOKE at the best venue in Fabulous FERNDALE! Marissa has the best group of Singers anywhere in the Detroit Metro Area. The food is amazing and the Bar is awesome too. Come hear me sing either at. The Church or at The CORNER!“

“Ate here last night for Valentine’s Day date with my husband. First visit to this location and it was top notch! Our server Alejandro was attentive and on top of things and so friendly. Food and atmosphere was excellent and margaritas great. We will definitely be back ! ❤️“

“This weekend we visited Detroit Fleat to check out their brunch, and I have to say it’s one of the most family-friendly and pet-friendly restaurants we’ve been to all summer. The restaurant has ample space for strollers and high chairs. The outdoor patio and kid play area are a huge plus — it allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal while our daughter had fun.

Our server, Marissa, was excellent — a true 10/10. Her patience, service, and attention to detail made the experience even better.

For food, we ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Nachos, Pancakes, and Mac and Cheese for our daughter. Everything was delicious — we’d give it all a 10/10, except the pancakes, which we’d rate a 7/10.

The ambiance was relaxed and laid-back, perfect for a weekend brunch. One small area for improvement is the host stand — when we first walked in, there was no greeter, and we only got seated after walking inside and being directed by staff behind the bar.

Overall, we loved the experience and especially the patio. We’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy more time outside with both family and friends.“
