“First visit to this establishment during my visit to Michigan. Middle Eastern food Isa must when visiting. We decided to have lunch and this restaurant wasn't too far from the house. We had a wonderful meal and I couldn't say enough good things about this place. The food was tasty and service was great and friendly. Please check this place out and support local businesses.“
“Delightful service, delicious food, and vegetarian friendly. Ali takes so much pride in being welcoming and making sure the meal is the star of the experience. Don't leave without trying the lentil soup, the falafel, and the teaVegetarian options: The staff gave information about vegetarian options during service“
“Super impressed with Kabob Royale. I had a quick lunch here with my mom. We both got a beef shawarma wrap and cup of lentil soup. Both items were extremely tasty, the beef was tender and flavorful, prices were incredibly fair, and service was fast. Wish I had remembered to take a pic! Would be my go-to lunch spot if I lived in town.“
“Yooo. I just got takeout grape leaves and hummus/chicken for the first time from Boffs and I can't tell you how happy I am to have a place for solid middle eastern food in my neighborhood. The grape leaves are the size of cigars. I'm going to be going here a lot more.“
“Today was our first time. We saw the add for meat bundles in the Warren city paper.Ali behind the counter helped us and was so amazing. He offered a snack while we waited and now we are in love the food from the restaurant next door. The meat bundle was super reasonably priced and they packaged everything in portions for us. We will definitely be back!!!“
“1st time experience! I got invited with coworkers for lunch. I got the shush kabob, lentil soup, and cajin fries. It was absolutely juicy and delicious. Went back for dinner the same day and got the kufta and chicken shrwarma and it was packed with flavor. Sara the host was welcoming, inviting, and kind. The hospitality was like a family oriented vibe. And Chef Hassan is the heart of the kitchen; cooked the food flawlessly. The staff made sure you were satisfied before you left. Definitely going there again! To be open for 25 years shows their loyalty and dedication for their customers. Food was fresh, delicious, and the price was affordable can't beat it.“
“It is the best Iraqi restaurant in the townFood test authenticI recommend Zubadi fish, Kubat Saray, Me'alakAnd Bagila bl dihinThe owner was very welcoming, generous ,and kindI encourage everyone to try their foodAnd wish the restaurant team all the best“
“I went to try Middle eats today and the food was so fresh and delicious! I got the shrimp and steak bowl and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The gentleman in the establishment were very professional and kind ! 10/10 if you haven’t tried this place yet THIS IS YOUR SIGN!“
“So i had poutine back in Montreal, but their poutine is just so delicious. On top of that, what makes it worth is the variety of sauces they offer, halal meat, and friendly conversation. Loved the food, the taste, the service. Looking forward to improvements in the ambiance “
“This place is definitely doing something right by staying open past everyone else especially on a Sunday. What a great business move and support to its community. The food didn't disappoint either. We were really happy with the chicken and rice. It had great flavor and not dry for being grilled. This little spot is great for post anything especially after the Schvitz. They are open till 1am. It's not fancy but the food is YUMMY and definitely worth a try. If any pointers I would give to the establishment, it would be to adjust the oil quality on the salad. It was too heavy and not olive oil. Hope to visit again! Also, a few options were gluten free but you have to ask server. The lamb soup was NOT gluten free. They do add flour.“
“I ordered the falafel sandwich, the falafel was crispy and moist on the inside and super flavourful. I hate dry bland falafel so these were a refreshing change. The ingredients were all super fresh and it's obvious the guys put a lot of care into the quality of the “
“Cedarland Bakery is a local gem that never fails to impress. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. This dedication to authenticity shines through in every aspect of the bakery, from the flavors of the baked goods to the welcoming atmosphere. As someone who values authenticity above all else, I truly admire Cedarland Bakery for staying true to its roots. In a world where so many things are constantly changing, it's refreshing to find a place that offers a taste of tradition with every visit. If you're in search of a bakery that combines exceptional quality with genuine warmth, look no further than Cedarland Bakery.“
“A beautiful, clean Iraqi restaurant with delicious food. I tried the meat kebab and the meat tashreeb was delicious. Their bread is fresh from the oven and melts in the mouth. And of course, the service is excellent, even with the crowds ??“
“One of the best restaurants that I have been to in a VERY long time. The food was mouthwatering delicious! And to think we happened to come here by chance - because the other place we wanted to go to was closed. It has become my new go-to restaurant. The waitress was just adorable. Always smiling and very attentive. The seating area was spacious, clean and super comfy. And the prices are affordable. And GENEROUS portions. I'd definitely recommend this place! 10/10 from me!“
“I came here just because of the reviews and it didn’t disappoint! The service is perfect, good atmosphere, the Hummus was the best one I’ve ever had. The waitress Amani is super kind, she will greet you with a beautiful smile! The Chicken with vegetables and rice serves 2 or 3 people. Definitely a place to return!!“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family operated restaurant!! I was visiting the area for work trip and stayed at hotel walking distance from Wokabob. Saw the positive reviews and walked over to order dinner to go eat back in my room. So many options I wanted to try - I went with the D-Jay (drunken noodles and chicken shawarma) spice of mild plus. As I was waiting for my meal to be prepared I talked with the owner (wife) Natalie who is so friendly with her service. I told her I will have to come back tomorrow to order another dish it all looked so good! When she handed me my to go order (one meal) I could not believe how heavy the bag was, felt like a lot of food! It was so delicious, a nice heat level, so much flavor and huge portion. I went back for lunch the next day AND ordered another meal for dinner. This time was husband owner “Papi” who I met and I ordered his signature dish of Pineapple fried rice with shrimp kabob and also a shrimp pad Thai. Again, generous portions of tasty fresh food spiced as I liked it mild plus. I ate lunch in the restaurant and took the rest back home for dinner. Food is A + I want to try more dishes next time I am in town. The shrimp very flavorful can taste the high quality ingredients in all dishes I enjoyed. The food is prepared with love and pride. Such kind warm people here this is the kind of family business I want to return to and see thrive. Restaurant is very clean. Such a great place!!“
“Came here for lunch and ordered the combo for two with hummus and fattoush salad, as well as jallab for our drink. It was all delicious, and the spices and garnishes in the combo really made it taste special. I'd say it was pretty good value too, given the portions and prices. It was our first time trying Syrian food, and we'd definitely go out of our way to eat it here again!“
“I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. We came here to break our fast, the line looked pretty long initially but it moved so quickly. The service was fast, friendly, and homey. This hole in the wall had one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had in a while, and the toum and pickles made it a perfect bite. If you're looking for good food with no frills and kind service, you'll find it here :)“
“we decided to try Shiva Mandi special combos turn out to be a real gem despite the restaurant not being fancy, but it made us feel at home. The food was excellent flavorful and delicious but what really is stole our hearts was people at Sheba they were very respectful. and on top they didn’t even charge for Tea.“
“I love chickpea kitchen. Since my first time here almost a year ago, I’ve been back countless times. The food is authentic and the flavors are bold and tasty. I absolutely love the owner, he works just as hard as the employees and they are all polite, patient and professional. My son even loves it here. So 10/10 recommend 100% for us“
“The main and most important point is that that food was excellent. The restaurant had a great turnover with lots of customers coming in and out. My wife and I ate onsite. There were enough chairs inside by the window to eat at the counter on a cold snow day. The service was very friendly. We were brought a spicy sauce extra that we had not asked for out of a genuine act of hospitality which was much appreciated, very delicious and added to our experience. The grape leaves came warm, served with house pickles on lettuce. The restaurant felt authentic, like a family run joint. The food was definitely homemade and fresh, in all the best ways. The falafel sandwiches were perfect, the hummus was super delicious and ideal consistency and temperature, and having fresh made to order juices on the menu was a big plus too. Highly recommend for Birmingham. Clearly labeled vegan and plant based options.“

“Ordered takeout for the first time here at around 10:30am and it was relatively busy with take out orders. They have a lunch special around that time which is a good deal. Comes with the main and rice/fries and soup/salad. Service was very good, the cashier was very nice and friendly although she was very busy packing orders and taking calls.“
“Shawn was very helpful he is a talented chef I believe cause if you can make food like homemade you should be a good cook they have a rich story and a classic dine in or take away I’m in love with Classic decor very good hummus and baba “
“Customer service was great! The cheese and zaatar manakeesh weee very big and decent! The fool was very flavorful and feta as well. I wish they made tea fresh instead of the tea bags, but otherwise great food and great customer service! The environment was very spacious as well.“
“Their House Salad is the best! Can't get enough of it. I get every time! The rest of their food is great as well. Well, I haven't tried their whole menu but maybe I should. Great service and I love the peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.“
“Kakouche is amazing always no matter whichever one you choose the pizza one and the sujouk one are my personal favorite. Just make sure you order before 12 because this is a very popular item and the bread runs out fast. No complaints authentic sandwiches and baked items. Tarboush gets 5 stars. Quality ingredients, recipes, and customer service. One of my favorite places in Dearborn.“
“The flavors of the Middle East. It's also great for the European stomach. It's not ostentatious, it's more convincing. Vegetables are captivating, even for carnivores. Lamb or chicken, small or majestic. Only the place is simple, everything else is great. Unmissable if you go there.“
“One of my fav places in the area to eat! Love to dine-in and get takeout, everything is really delicious! I usually get a fattoush salad, lentil soup, chicken Schwarma plate or the kabob Eden platter. The service is great and the prices are better than other places in the area. We’ve been coming here the last 6 years and it’s definitely worth stopping by!“
“Cedarland has been our family’s go-to restaurant for Middle Eastern comfort food for nearly 30 years. From amazing lentil soups to fattoush, Kafta, and an impossible-to-beat core menu of shawarma, grape leaves, hummous and tabbouli, Cedarland will make your taste buds happy, fill your appetite and not break your wallet.“
“A hidden gem. I found this store awhile ago when I was looking for spices. They had all of the spices that I needed to make my chili. It would have been much more expensive and a bigger hassle to get everything at a regular grocery store. I have turned many people on to it who live in the neighborhood. Great food and sweet owners ?“
“Stopped in for the first time ever today. I had already seen the menu and knew exactly what I wanted. A couple in front of me also was there for the first time. The young man who was taking orders was extremely patient. He went over the menu options with them and didn't hurry them along at all. That is excellent customer service right there.BTW the first thing you smell in the lobby are the fresh Mangos, Pineapple and Bananas.Food was tasteful and well priced. But the real winner was the Mango smoothie.“
“Ali and his team at Mike’s are the absolute best! They come through with delicious catering every time. The prices are so reasonable and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Their customer service is absolutely on-point. Make sure to add a tray of baklava to your order!“
“My family and I visited this restaurant October 8th 2023. Absolutely LOVED it. Everything about this restaurant was great. The food was great. The service was great. The atmosphere was, you guessed it, great. I also loved how the other patrons were very friendly.“
“Food is very good, had the red snapper and the shrimp tacos. Service is horrible and very slow. The place looks very nice it's clean for the most part just the table we were sitting on was not wiped down. I've been here twice only because the food is good.“
“Had to leave another review from my other account. You guys do not disappoint! I'm a regular through DoorDash (which we can all agree really sucks) and you guys always come through. I'm the guy who always asks for the sides of tahini sauce. I appreciate that you always deliver on that! I know stuff isn't free I work in the restaurant business and know how it goes. Everything I've ordered from here has been on point. No complaints.“
“Great food. Nice staff. Can’t wait to order from here again. We had a discount code for buy one get one free for a gyro. We ordered one pulled lamb and one steak. They were both delicious. Their Greek salad is great also, fresh with a great dressing. The only issue is that parking isn’t great, but definitely worth the inconvenience for the food.“
“Ramadan mubarak! We just had our iftar at this restaurant, and we really enjoyed it. This is our third time in michigan, and we just heard about this Yamani restaurant, so we decided to try it. The food was delicious, and the people there are very nice.. many thanks to Mohmmad ( Iraqi guy) he was very nice and patient ?“
“Delicious food, always fresh and flavorful, friendly service, and an enjoyable affordable meal the whole family loves. Order in, order trays for a party, or have a relaxing casual dinner there, all of it is enjoyable!Kid-friendliness: My 5yo eats her whole plate when we order or go here! Healthy and delicious!“
“This is a true Yemeni/arabic food gem. They cook really good and they just remodelled it a year or two ago so the atmosphere is already perfect. They have very nice workers at the front desk with your order, the food is the main part. They probably cook the JUICIEST chicken I’ve tasted in my whole life. The chicken is well done and melts in your mouth with a lot of flavor. The other food is also very good and nice. They have really nice milkshakes too.Parking: A ton of parkingKid-friendliness: They have baby seats inside and often give free lollipops to your childWheelchair accessibility: They have many wheelchair accessible walks“
“My girlfriend and I decided to get some take out after running errands for the day . We stopped at the place it was around dinner time so the place was pretty busy we had to wait a while before someone even acknowledged us but we understood as it looked very busy we eventually ordered the food didn’t take too long when we got home to my surprise the food was delicious & fresh I enjoyed it a lot . Thx“
“The best customer service ever! My first time coming and I felt very welcome. I got a chicken shawarma and the was moist and delicious. Tasted fresh and not like it’s been sitting like other places I’ve been to. I was also able to sample before I bought which I loved. 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend!“
“Had Beef Kofka breakfast today. Great new dish for me. Great color with fresh flavor. Excellent family service. Warm atmosphere, with furnish needing some upgrade. I forgive with local economics being difficult (I live there) - food and service are primary value. In a flavor desert, this place stands out as an oasis of traditional cuisine. Will be back for kabob and off menu.“
“Brought family from Indiana to check Dearborn.Being of Lebanese descent, wanted to find an authentic. Got a haircut and barber told me to go there. I loved the place. Everything is made to order. No reheat or microwave. The meat pie more authentic than one In Beirut. So much flavor and excellent spices. The mixed cheese akawi and mozzarella tasted out of this world.Definitely coming back again and again.Made a huge order to go. Hussein and his Dad were super friendly.“
“Growing up part Lebanese and Syrian I was basically raised on this type of food, so I know what I like, and my expectations were high. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress Kylie was outstanding. For drinks I ordered a Manhattan, and my friend had a Spicey Margarita. Both were strong and delicious. For our Appetizers we had the Calamari which was super crispy and came with an amazing sliced tomato sauce. Of course I had to get a taste of everything so the Vegetarian Plate was an absolute must. It came with so many different food items and even just the presentation alone was gorgeous. My favorites were the fried Falafel which was super flavorful, crispy, but not dry at all like many can be from other places, the Baba Ghanouge was fantastic, and the Hummus which was so smooth and some of the best I’ve had. Hot bread was provided as well for dipping. Now if I’m completely honest, I did not care for the Veggie Grape Leaves or the Fattoush Salad. The salad seemed a little soggy and the flavors just kind of blended together, and the Grape Leaves had much too strong of a lemon/garlic type of taste that was way too overpowering. For our Entrees I decided on the Kibbeh Niyeh (raw lamb), which was very fresh and a large portion for the price. My friend decided to mix it up and try the Chicken Florentine. I wasn’t sure a predominantly Middle Eastern style restaurant could deliver on a dish like that, but not only was the portion huge, the flavor and quality is like one you’d find at a nice Italian restaurant. I was very surprised. For Dessert we of course had to try the Tiramisu. Each bite nearly had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. It was light but flavorful, and each bite just melted in your mouth. If you’re in the mood for good Mediterranean, I highly recommend checking this place out!“
“La Burma and La Roma Damas have the best shawarma, and Al-Makdous deserves all the money. It is better than their restaurant, Your Legs is Madous, and the cleanliness and elegance are brought from Damascus. The tradition and broasted meat you will only find in their delicacies are as beautiful as you can imagine.“
“Went there for the first time yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Authentic and delicious food, great and friendly service. Bought a bottle of their homemade dressing and had it along with leftovers. Our new "go to" for Lebanese cuisine!“
“Amazing! So I ordered Fatousch salad with beef and fetaI also got baklava on the sideWhen I got back to my hotel I realized it wasn’t in my Togo bag.Honestly I thought I had forgotten to grab it lol.Anyways I called and the nice lady remembered my order and apologized! She said it was ok for me to come in the next day and pick it up.So I went and picked it up and again such a pleasant experience. Seriously such a great place“
“They are always busy in the morning but if you place an order and give them 10-15 minutes it’ll be done and ready to go! Great people and great food. It’s a two in one and you should definitely try there zaatar cheese and veggie mashrooh mixed by far my favorite dish!“
“We came to Ferndale for some bagels, but while parking we smelt the amazing smells of Indian cuisine. We instantly changed our minds and l’m so happy we did. The service was immaculate and the food was spectacular. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend the lamb tikka masala & garlic naan! So scrumptious!“
