“As I first strolled into the Goodrich Subway on a particulartly dreary afternoon, my expectations for the experience to come was minimal. Myself being a connoisseur to sandwich shops and delis across the area, I have been treated to the best of the best, the top rye shall we say; and to expect much from this corporatized perversion of what I held dearest to me seemed a laughable notion. Hahaha what a fool I was! Not a second after I open the door to this establishment am I greeted with the hearty aroma of freshly baked bread and a variety of herbs. It is then that I am welcomed by the divine voice of a particularly handsome sandwich artist "Can I help you?" he whispers in my ear as I approach the sub station. My heart begins to race as I begin to imagine the sandwich possibilites. So many options at such a modest price it was almost to much to comprehend. I sensually reply "footlong... Italian BMT" feeling confident with my selection. As I anticipate the bold flavor soon to come, I adorn a broad grin across my face. Still grinning I am finally met with a heavenly creation of a sandwich. The bread was heated to a perfect 295 degrees and the meat to vegetable ratio was flawless. Unprepared for this creation I could not help but to sweat and shake violently... still maintaing my grin, the visual was enough to scare a number of passer-bys who were not cultured enough to fathom such a sub. Only Moments later I dropped the sub due to my sweaty palms so naturally I began to aggressively eat the sandwich off the floor without regret. The taste was of pure bliss and that was just the tile. Upon leaving I hoped to live the rest of my life the way I did those last five minutes. 10/10 would recommend“

“Visited evening of June 30th.

Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.

Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.

He noticed my malts looked a tad thin so they were remade for me. Everything was cooked perfect and fresh. No complaints. Ty Larry. I will be ordering again.“

“Always good service at this location and the food is cooked fresh while you wait. They aren't super fast which is ok because they don't have food sitting around getting old. It's all hot and fresh! Plenty of parking but be careful pulling out of the parking lot because traffic around there is normally bad.“

“I have been eating from here for two years and compared to other locations they are always timely and accurate with my order, unlike the dreadful Lapeer location. In 2 years they have only made one mistake and they rectified it immediately.

I am very pleased with the staff, both for service and food quality.“

“OMG! The semi bros thoroughly enjoyed our Dairy Queen experience! We both got the bacon cheese burger (double and triple) with a side of onion rings. The onion rings were the star of the show with the restaurant home owned taste and texture. The burger itself was amazing. However the burger meat it self tasted like school burger but it did not effect my experience I love when my
Burger tastes like school burger. Then after we grubbed we got the Dairy Queen brownie and oreo cupfection. And god damn. It was so amazing. The fudge was so gooey and the ice cream was amazing. Perfect ratio. But wait it gets better. I had bit a brownie and found a chocolate chip! I love chocolate! 10/10 experience and we will come again. Ps put your price down a lil.thanks g.

“All the other big John’s have angry and surely staff for some reason. This one always is staffed with happy welcoming folks and some of the most beautiful and delicious sandwiches. The cheesesteak they served me was prettier than the advertisement. Even better everyone working there was pleasant and enjoyable. In 2025 having fast service, excellent made to order food, outstanding staff, and decent prices is near unheard of. This location in particular hits all of the above and more consistently may years in a row.“

I called and he politely listened to everything I said and made it right IMMEDIATELY!!! He overly understood the assignment and came running like Prince Charming!!!
