“DISCLAIMER: I WILL L LEAVE OUT MY OPINION ABOUT THE FOOD BECAUSE WHEN I ATE THERE, I WAS COMING DOWN WITH A SINUS INFECTION. THAT CAN ALTER HOW THINGS TASTE.Coney with a small town diner feel. This is one of those places where you just know most of their daily business is from the community, and the staff probably knows most of the customers names.My waitress was named Julia and she was both witty and pleasant. The service was extremely quick and cashing out was a breeze.I must go back and visit again in a few weeks. I will update this soon.“

“For a stereotypical American breakfast-type chain restaurant, the food is pretty good and consistent. I've never had any real issues with my orders and IF there was a mistake it was always minor and corrected immediately with an apology and a smile.

The atmosphere is a bit nostalgic which is part of the charm for me personally. It feels old school and comforting which is nice in a fast-paced world.

The customer service is really why I'm here to write this review though. Having frequented this place so much to the point where a few of the servers know exactly who I am and what I want (lol), it's still always a pleasant interaction and warm smiles all around. If I ever move, I will sincerely miss this place.“

“This is a grip of nostalgia from the word go.

This restaurant is never more than it needs to be. One person on the grill, one waitress, and a great lineup of breakfast and lunch options.

The place is cash only, which is not something you see everyday. And EVERYTHING on the menu is under $10.

You won’t find a better value for breakfast in the area. The cynics would say it needs to be renovated, but if they do it would take away from the charm.

Nothing needs to change about this place. We will be here again. Thank you“

“My wife and I ordered the “Fish & Chips” When I tell you we have found our new spot for Fish in Taylor “We found our new spot” The fish was fresh & flakey, batter was light and crunchy, the tartar sauce had a good amount of relish in it. Not all mayo! Our dinner also came with soup, (3 to choose from) chicken noodle, lemon rice, and clam chowder. We chose clam chowder, very flavorful & packed with clams. This spot is right down the street from my grandkids house. I have been there many times with them but I did not put two & two together when we ordered our carry out. (Door Dash) Now that we know, you can count on us being repeat offenders. Thanks for the great meal we will still be in with the grands for Sunday breakfast lol. 5+++“

“The food is delicious! The last two times we went here we waited a long time to order. The waitresses were all talking by the register. Then came the long wait for the food. People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“

“Celebrating our 66 anniversary, we were there early, it was very quite, we were sat at a window seat on the water side, service was great,waitress (I don't remember her name) was very good and friendly. “Feels like an old style dinner with mostly booths. Got right in and service was friendly and fast. I got crunchy peanut butter French toast. They were not as yummy as I was expecting but not bad. Portion was big, I only was able to eat about half of them. My Wife got a veggie omelet and hash browns, she said they were very good. Prices are pretty good and they do have breakfast specials as well. Overall a good place for breakfast.“

“Zukin's Rib Shack holds a special place in my heart. While I do genuinely think the food is some of the best around, . Growing up, my family got Zukin's all the time. My dad and I are pizza afficionados and would get pies from this place all the time. I remember having for my birthday, When my dad got sick, all he ever wanted to eat was a pepperoni and mushroom pizza from this place. Even as he lost his appetite and his hair fell out, even when he didn't feel like eating anything else, he'd eat his pizza and those brownies.

Unrelated, my grandma was a fan of the ribs and I agree with her opinion.

Next month, I'm taking a train across the country to start a new life in the New Mexican desert. Before I leave downriver, I have to grab me a pizza and maybe some ribs. And tbh with you, if you're thinking about grabbing food from here, you should. It's delicious, the prices are fair, and it's down to earth.“

“Between doctor appointments, a friend & I had lunch at Olga’s Kitchen, located in Woodhaven, MI, yesterday. The food was really good & Sabrina, our server was excellent. We received some of the best service I have ever had and I wanted to recognize her. Sabrina was very personable and very, very attentive to our needs. Only problem I had was that they brought out 3 out of the 4 dishes and left one of us without food for a solid 15 mins, only after my individual complained did they get their food. Really loud and packed place if your up for that, not a bad spot to eat.“

“Great Food-Fantastic staff! Always comes to the table at the right temperature! It’s a small building but they push out the food! The kitchen always listens carefully to special orders/requests! Came in yesterday (Sunday) and I told the waitress “they made it exactly how I wanted it-it was delicious” -and she said “they better! I put them on notice!!” ?? Everyone seemed happy to be there, and I heard the waitstaff saying goodbye to each other at shift change-and all were so sweet to each other. No catty drama. We come here often and it never disappoints!“
