“It’s 18% gratuity on every Dine In Check. The food is always great. I love the different breakfast items . It’s always a great place for breakfast and bottomless coffees . Pancakes don’t come with side but sides are $5 each like bacon and eggs.
Parking: Street parking is okay
Kid-friendliness: My 2 year old had a great time.“

“If you're looking for a culinary adventure, try Saffron De Twah, a Morcoccoan restaurant on the east side of Detroit. The food is amazing--the chicken sandwich is the best you'll ever have in your lifetime. Don't leave without trying the tea. What a presentation! Even more wonderful than the food is Chef/Owner Omar's hospitality & generousity!!! One of his core values is giving back to the commuity through the Saffron Community Kitchen and his YouTube presentations. Did I mention he is a James Beard finalist? I will return again & again. My only regret is I did not take photos.“

“We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. A very clean take-out only place, with good food and a very friendly staff.“

“Dined there for the first time. Incredible food. Every dish ordered at our table was delicious. Everything made in house except bread which is sourced locally. It has a nice atmosphere and good selection of beverages as well. Highly recommend.“
“I didnt know anything about Soul Food, but have come here several times now. Very tasty meals and good kind service. The neighborhood is beautiful and it is easy to find by driving up Jefferson toward Pewabic Pottery, turn onto Van Dyke and just park right along Agnes. The neighborhood has one of those pretty names, too, tho sadly I have forgotten. But the food is the big deal, and the folksy service. I even got dessert as well. It is really worth the trip!“

“Clean, friendly, attentive, excellent food. You can tell right away when you walk to the door that the owners love this place and are proud of it. I had the steak and eggs, both cooked to my rare/over medium delight and my rye toast actually came with my meal. So important. Loved our waitress Becky. I'm from Sfld and my sisters are in Mt. Clemens. We will make this our meeting spot from now on.“

“I placed a large order with Hanan’s Bakery and was blown away by the exceptional customer service despite being super busy on EID morning. The team was friendly, efficient, and made the entire experience seamless. When I picked up the order, the pies were hot out of the oven and absolutely perfect! “I've always been a fan of Carrots n' Dates, especially when I'm on a health food kick. Recently, the owners have done an overhaul of the restaurant and I am LOVING the staff. They're always attentive, helpful, and seem eager to learn the business. The food is always fresh and delicious. By far one of my favourite lunch picks while I'm busy working on my school work. Can't recommend visiting enough, whether it's your first visit or if you're ready to give it another chance with the new staff. 10/10.“

“My husband and I and our son and daughter in law went to Nico Walkerville last week and it was a wonderful first time experience for us all. The atmosphere was beautiful. Very inviting. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The meals were divine! From the apps to the main course to the deserts and drinks and coffee! A#1! Would highly recommend everyone to go👍“

“Are you kidding me? As I said today while we were there, this place is INSANE. In the best way.
We had the Thai cheesesteak and it was to die for, also tried their new item the hot bun and it was devoured in minutes.
Absolutely will be back, happy to call this the new go to place for dinner.“

“Got the Chicken Pad Thai..With extra chicken and egg along with 3 spring rolls. Was a little pricey, probably because I had them add extra but I like it that way. Nice spice level, medium + is where I tend to like it. Food was ready as soon as I go there. Was hot and delicious.“

“10/10 for this home run of a restaurant. I generally don't eat breakfast in the morning but my stomach said otherwise today. I tried to ignore the hungry vibe I was getting but I failed. While driving I saw the sign and said why not. Let's give it a shot. I'm ecstatic that i did so. I had the "meat wrap" and let me tell you it was heaven in a tortilla for this breakfast carnivore. I will definitely be a regular there for now on. The hospitality and warm smiles definitely started my day off right. Thanks guys!!“

“We stopped in for breakfast before a wrestling tournament and we had excellent service and our food was great! My son said the French toast was the best he’s ever had, and the corn beef hash was homemade! Would definitely recommend and will stop again if we are back in the area.“
