50 Best Bakeries near Grosse Pointe Park

“The best bakery baked goods I've EVER had! Stopped in last week for the first time, bought the multi-grain sourdough bread, blueberry muffins and the croissant cinnamon honey muffins. Oh my heavens, delicious doesn't aptly describe the baked goods I ate. The muffins and bread are made with clean, natural ingredients - no fillers or junk. Every item has a distinct flavor profile. The blueberry muffins were bursting with blueberries. The honey drizzle on the cinnamon croissant muffin was divine, tasted like it came straight from the beehive. Le Rouge has a new fan!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently received an order from The Cookie Bar in Strathroy, and I was genuinely blown away by the entire experience. From the moment the package arrived, it was clear that a tremendous amount of care and attention had gone into every detail. The shipping was incredibly fast, the packaging was excellent, and each cookie was individually wrapped and perfectly protected. As impressive as the presentation was, the cookies themselves were even better. Every single one was absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients, the craftsmanship, and the effort put into creating these cookies really shines through. Each flavour was rich, fresh, and honestly tasted like a little piece of heaven. It's rare these days to come across a business that delivers this level of quality from start to finish. The Cookie Bar has certainly earned a loyal customer, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional baked goods. Absolutely phenomenal.“

Sun-dried tomato and basil cheese tart, warmed up with the cheese becoming gooey

Cinnamon roll croissant also warmed up, delicious

I docked 1 star for the unkind behavior of the brunette ponytailed barista. We bought an unhoused gentleman a coffee. He was with a walker and could hardly move. When the barista brought out his coffee, he asked her for cold water. She looked at him in disgust and walked away. I gave her a few mins to bring the water. When I realized she wasn’t going to, I walked over and demanded she give him the water. It was a hot, humid day. We already paid for his drink, it really didn’t need to go like that.

Besides that, all the cashiers were friendly and knowledgeable.“

“Absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try more goodies! The biscuit breakfast sandwich was sooo good!“

“Rachel and the Sweet Revenge team were SO helpful! I’m from out of town and found Sweet Revenge because of the great reviews online and I’m happy I did. I was planning a surprise birthday cake and kept having a lot of last minute changes and the team was very accommodating every step of the way. I knew that making changes just a couple days before the event was not going to be easy, but they made everything seamless. Email responses were fast and detailed, and very polite. I had the cake delivered and everything about it was perfect. Not only did it look adorable but it tasted great, and the Birthday Girl was blown away. Highly recommend this cake shop!“

“Popped in on our roadtrip coming home on the hunt for a donut. I was beyond surprised by the style and quality of the fritters! First of all, the size of these fritters is crazy! I’ve never had a donut this large! I ordered the apple and the strawberry as I couldn’t decide which one. I was so impressed with the style and the quality of the donut. It tastes and feels like a beautiful bread with glaze and delicious filling with real fruit! Probably one of the most elite donuts I have ever had.
Thank you to the friendly staff for helping me decide on the donut! The pumpernickel bread is always very flavourful and light.
Can’t wait to pop in again on the next roadtrip!“

“Went here and got a decent amount of pastries amd brought some family with us. Usually when we go here they put it in a box and tie it but instead put it inside of a white paper bag. Not as great as it used to be in our opinion but not the worst either.“

“This location is a block away from my parents house and my Dad goes in 6 times a day. When they found out my Mom had a heart attack on Thursday they sent her a bouquet of flowers. Also someone from there dropped off a bowl of chili and bun for my dad for dinner since my Mom couldn't make him dinner. This store went above and beyond. Awesome workers at this Tim Horton's.“

“Su gran calidad de sus tortillas“

“I would love to buy and support from a local business over a chain of grocery stores. The only difference im seeing is that the stores give an idea pricing for cakes where the site for this one does not give any idea of what the pricing starts at. Everything on the site looks amazing I see that this place gets business and the reviews are all great but I need pricing levels for consideration.“

“Everything I’ve ever bought has exceeded my expectations. I love how polite they are always. The baked goods are fresh and extremely tasty. I grew up next door to a bakery….so I really know how they should taste. ❤️“
