Maybe if you want something added, ask for it next time ( read a lot of complaints about onions not in the fried rice) but it was delicious. Sweet and Sour sauce served as a side…perfect so the chicken doesn’t get soggy (and yes it would thicken if you let it cool-another response to a bad review). Overall, would definitely recommend. Dumplings were fantastic, soup was full of wontons.“

As someone who has travelled extensively across China, I’ve always found it hard to come by truly authentic Chinese food outside the country. But this place in Windsor completely surprised me – it’s hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to outside of China.

We tried the hot pot and fried pork belly, and both were absolutely awesome – rich in flavour, perfectly cooked, and true to the traditional taste. The ingredients were fresh, and the spice levels hit the mark just like in Sichuan.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a real Chinese food experience – not the usual North American version. Will definitely come back!“

“Was pleasantly surprised, as I had judged them by the reviews. But I really wanted Chinese food, so I got the Mongolian Beef combo for dinner. It was great. Tonight I had the General Tso’s Chicken combo dinner. Both entrees were done with “medium” spice, which is enough for me. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the fried outer breading shell was thin and not mushy. Fried rice is very tasty as well as the egg roll that came with the dinner combo. A great experience.“

I ordered the shrimp with Maggi seasoning, paired with steamed rice and wonton soup. The wonton soup was light and refreshing, and the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and flavourful. Generous serving for the main dish, and both dishes were simple but done really well. The house tea was perfectly brewed, and the service was prompt and excellent. Overall, a great dining experience!

Food prep took 20 min longer than advised time.The rice was very flavorful lots of meat and CLEAN shrimp but just a tad bit on the dry side.The chicken was crispy hot and delicious. Crab Rangoon light and golden, eggrolls were great too! They were out of the deep fried crab claws i was kinda bummed but I'll try next time. “I’ve been trying to find good Chinese food for a few years now. I live downtown on Jefferson and I don’t like the 2 located near Belle Isle.

I only ordered shrimp fried rice because I didn’t want to be disappointed.

My fried rice was perfect. The rice was a tad bit chewy but it had a great flavor which tells me it was made in a well seasoned wok. The shrimp actually had a little flavor to them. Most places the shrimp just taste boiled. I love egg foo young so I’ll be back to try that next time“

“Never been here before. I was sick with a stomach flu so I didn’t feel like anything heavy or overly flavourful. I ordered the wonton soup with egg noodles. When I entered into the place, it looked clean and the food from the kitchen smelled good. Staff greeted me immediately and were very kind. When I got home and tried the soup, it was everything I was looking for. Will be coming back when I feel better to try the other stuff on the menu!“
