“I just ordered from here via Uber eats for the first time and to be completely honest I had absolutely no idea it was a vegan restaurant!! I was just looking for a burger and wouldn't have ordered from her had i realized it was vegan in advance. That being said, the burger was actually really good, I dont have a lot of vegan experiences to compare it too but it was by far the best I've had to date. Also their fried are awesome! And the portions are very large! All in all i was really impressed with the quality, the price, the taste and the portion size👍“

“We love Mootz but service is slow usually to be prepared. Food is amazing! We were sat immediately but waited 5-10 min and had to find who our waiter was. Food came out decent normal time but my main entree didn't come and had to chase down server again to ask about my entree. We'll be back bc food is always great but was disappointed by service.“

“To start out, our waitress was excellent. We started with calamari and veggie platter and both were great. My wife ordered the vegetable ciabatta , my son and I got a steak and they were cooked to perfection. We got a couple different desserts and they did not disappoint either. It was the 3rd time we've sat in the chalets and we will be back again. Great experience all around“

“We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. “I am not a food critic. But I have the time while flying back home to reflect on dinner last night. The experience was so amazing that I had to leave a glowing review. I seldom take the time to do so.

Marrow is top shelf dining experience. My friends and I went all in with the food paring ($90) and drink paring ($45) options. Pricey but well worth it. 3 small but flavorful starters, a wonderful pear salad, a chorizo and gnocchi dish head of the main event… a 7oz flat iron steak cooked to perfection over a bed of lightly smoked and tender pinto beans finishing with a single scoop of chestnut ice cream. But that was just the food. The drinks were carefully paired with each course. 5 in total. Each one balanced bitterness, sweetness, and acid with each course. My mouth was alive as if it had been raised from the dead. It was so amazing that I forgot to mentally note each drink so I could describe them in the future.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I only wish I had met the chef and the team behind the incredible experience.

I am from Los Angeles and have plenty of great places to dine. My visit to Detroit to watch my friends compete in an indoor track bike race was punctuated be this celebratory dinner.

If you love incredible food with thoughtfully pared drinks, I cannot recommend Marrow enough.“

There were 4 squares of squash, plenty of orzo and a bed of greens. The flavor with squash was great but there weren't many pieces of it to call that the flavor of the dish. It was more like cheesy orzo. The staff was great. I felt welcomed. I know the food here can be great, this time sorry.“

Aside from the pies, everything else is also just really good. The other standouts for me are the savory bread pudding, the rosemary cookie, and the lemon poppyseed cookie, but everything behind the glass is phenomenal.

These sisters sure know how to bake. They're closing up their regular operation soon, but I'm optimistic that they'll find a new, more sustainable way to share their delicious baking with the community.“

“This is BY FAR one of the best restaurants in Windsor. Absolutely blown away when we recently got take out from here, just outstanding. Everything is homemade , very large portions. Had the spinach pie ( probably the best I have had in my lifetime) and the Shawarma beef and chicken plate . Just so flavourful and unique! Their pita bread is all homemade as well and it’s unbelievable. I literally called them after our meal to rave ! Will eat here again many times to come.“
