“Jets in Hamtramck is great, Detroit style deep dish square is my go to, been going to Hamtramck location for years. Delivery is available and the restaurant is oriented where is very takeout friendly has one booth in there if you’d like to sit in And eat while it’s piping hot. Love the place thank you. Need some halal meat in there but ive been happy with the veggie options So far

“Everything was good. It was our first time there.. I don’t appreciate the fact that they write in the tip without telling you .I had to go back because I double tipped and nobody said anything . They let me do it without saying a word.. they should tell you that they’re adding the tip in before you pay the bill. I didn’t realize what I did until I got to my car. I had to go back and straighten it out at the restaurant. I have four kids under the age of five. It wasn’t easy for me to do this. When you’re at the table with four kids and you’re trying to pay the bill, you don’t have time to look at it to see that the tip was added in. I gave the Service five stars because I think it was good Service. I just don’t like the idea of that she knew that all this was going on ,and didn’t remind me they had already put the 20% in .“

It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Dave Portnoy was right in his video, the pizza here is incredible 🤩 I ordered a medium Portnoy cheese pizza which had a nice crispy crust with a good amount of sauce and the cheese is fully melted without being oily 🤤 Expect to wait around 40 minutes because you have to order there, no online or phone orders, you grab a ticket when you walk in and wait until they call your number to order 🍕The wait is worth it and it's good if you're not a rush and want a real pizza that's not fast food and is fresh 🔥“

“I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review for Alpino because my husband and I love this place so much! It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

“Roman Village Cucina Italiana is absolutely phenomenal. Their homemade pastas, pizza, entrees, seafood and specialty dishes are incredible. The food is particularly amazing. Their wine list is extensive and selected with care. They have signature dishes that have earned them a stellar reputation within the city of Dearborn/Detroit border where it's located and the Metropolitan Detroit area in general. Come for lunch or dinner, make sure you have dessert and try something new each time you visit. Everything is spectacular. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Very well done.“

Upon discovering a tiny mistake in my order, he immediately brought me a new plate (although I had not complained—the first plate was yummy). The dish I actually ordered was so delicious, but of course now I had too much food, but they expected me to take both pastas home, providing containers before I thought to ask. Then a complimentary tiramisu on top of that! We felt very well taken care of. “The last time I dined at The Cook’s Shop was 30 years ago; 1996, when I graduated college.

We went with some friends, made a reservation, and drives at 5:30pm on September 4th for our plans.

The young man who seated us, Carlos Jr., was super pleasant and chatted with us. Next up was our server Ian, who had previously worked in the kitchen for 3 years, so understood the menu and was able to recommend things.

We started with the fresh bread, hot from the oven, and upgraded to bruschetta. It was delicious.

The next course was The Cook’s Shop salad, which is essentially a caesar salad without the bacon. Again, scrumptious. They offer fresh grated Parmesan on top too, which makes it extra decadent.

For our meals, 3 of us opted for the Beef Stroganoff. When I say this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, I mean it. The gravy was the perfect texture and consistency, the beef was tender, and the noodles al dente. Impeccable. Our other companion chose the lasagna, and he said it was fantastic.

Although we couldn’t finish our meals (the ladies, at least), we decided on homemade tiramisu for dessert. It was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness.

I was so impressed that I asked if we could come back for my 50th birthday in 3 months (ugh 😔).

“Ordered pizza for pickup while staying across the street at Holiday Inn Express. Although the toppings were plentiful and delicious, the crust was undercooked & a little doughy! Plus, it was on a sheet of parchment/wax paper that was completely stuck to the crust & impossible to peel off! Unfortunately, these 2 details turned what should have been an enjoyable night into a messy and frustrating experience!“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“
