I had the steak and eggs, both cooked to my rare/over medium delight and my rye toast actually came with my meal. So important. Loved our waitress Becky. I'm from Sfld and my sisters are in Mt. Clemens. We will make this our meeting spot from now on.“

“Oktoberfest is awesome at Batch. Great music groups playing German and polka songs. The beer is great with many choices. Indoor or outdoor seating and great wait staff! The owner, Stephen, has a great personality and is around visiting with the crowd.“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“Truly a hidden gem. Pashko and his entire staff are cheerful, fast, efficient and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is clean, well lit, and has fast turnover during rush hours. The regular diners here remind me of the characters from the Cheers sitcom - everybody knows your name (or they will soon)! Great food, generous portions. I love the Chicken Greek Salad, Wimpies, Coney Omelets.“

“We came to enjoy dinner for our anniversary. Our waiter was very attentive and observant to our needs. The food was phenomenal! I had the black and blue salad. The steak on it was perfectly seasoned and tender. I added shrimp and they were huge! My husband had the filet and it was the best filet we have even had! Again it was perfectly seasoned and juicy and tender. We will definitely be back. We are staying at the hotel which is beautiful as well“

“The Ham Shop truly feels like a hidden gem in Detroit, and I’m so glad I stumbled across it! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The food came out fast and hot, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. And I HAVE to mention the lemon rice soup, SO GOOD, I had to make a request to have one to go!
The owner was also incredibly friendly and personable. He took the time to chat and made the whole experience feel so welcoming and personal.
I left feeling full, happy, and already wanting to come back. This place genuinely made my day! I’m so glad I discovered it and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend checking out the Ham Shop in Detroit!“

“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!“

“I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything.
