“I’ve passed this place several times and finally had a chance to try it today. Some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life. Cooked fresh to order and they did not disappoint! “Hands-down, some of the best bbq, you can get in Metro-Detroit. I know many people would disagree with me, but I like it better than Slow’s or the Woodshop, any day. City BBQ’s meat is consistently better, more flavorful, the sauces offered are interesting (love the green chile!), and the staff is always kind. City BBQ is also significantly cheaper than the other afore-mentioned bbq joints. If you live in Metro-Detroit, go try it! It’s SO good!“

So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

I was determined to sample something else on their menu tonight and while the hubs was figuring out what he wanted, I started to read the reviews and was a bit shocked with a few of them. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.“

I've brought clients and friends there for numerous meals. Every visit has been worthwhile, and the restaurant offers a private area where I've been able to host my clients for an elevated dining experience and private conversations. If you're looking to experience authentic and high-quality Korean cuisine, similar to that of well-known Korean restaurants in NY, NJ, or LA, Chung Ki Wa is the place to visit“

“Authentic place. No menu, no sides, no cards, cash only. If you're looking to walk in and get some delicious no frills food this is your place. The duck was fantastic and comes with a nice sauce on the side. It was about $20 for half a duck. Looking forward to trying so more things they offer. No for the faint of heart, they pull the full duck down and chop it up right in front of you. Don't mind the complaining reviews, this place is definitely more old school but worth the stop“

They added almost 20 dollar gratuity. Wtf. I dnt mind tipping at all but dnt force me to tip over what the server deserves. Or an outrageous amount. I was also told with the platter I got two sides. “A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.

They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.“

“Omg great pizza I got extra cheese, pineapple, and bacon I would have gave them 5 stars just little under cooked plus the sauce is a strong tomato paste flavor need a little more spices .It was the deal for 29.99 for two large 3 topping and they let you use extra cheese as a topping without extra charging. Yeah, look at that. I’ve been wanting this one. My score is a 6.9“

I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. On the verge of tears on xmas eve with the worst day but the service was so kind, and the pizza was good and good service needs to be acknowledged and appreciated so 10/10.“
