“Well, I wish I had taken some pictures, but their food was amazing and affordable, but don't get the perch, it's very fishy. It has a strong fishy flavor. We ordered number 21 on the menu, $6.49 for either tilapia, perch or swai. We had the tilapia and perch. Next time I would try cod and/or whiting.“

“Wow. What an absolutely fantastic final dinner of 2023! After we managed to find a late dinner reservation for New Year's Eve, it was a relief to discover that our excitement about the tasting menu was well-placed. I would definitely recommend the drink pairings as well! The amuse-bouche featuring oysters from the West and East coasts was a delightful way to splash into the meal. The wasabi and the mangosteen featured in each of the oysters, respectively, complimented the beautiful brine of the oysters in such a wonderfully playful way. This first tasting urged us to pause the menu progression and order an extra dozen oysters to explore the other possibilities. Tasting from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island, they were beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. The first course of lobster salad felt like a summer in Maine. Not that I've ever been to Maine, but the imaginary scene flashed across my vision as I took that first refreshing bite. The grapefruit emulsion worked almost majestically with the light, refreshing flavor of the lobster salad. The tapioca chip was perfect for the crunch to fully bring the different elements of the dish together. A fascinating intersection of refreshment and comfort. The second course was the potato pavé. I'll be thinking of this potato often for the foreseeable future. It was one of those dishes that makes your eyes pop open a bit when you bite it as you realize how good it is. A beautifully layered and seared rectangle of flaky delicious potato resting with a lovely salsa brava speckled with trout roe, topped with tarragon, cured trout, and black truffle flakes. I don't even know what else to say. It was stunning. Sea urchin buttered ramen, the third course, will always be what I wish my at-home thrown-together ramen could be. It was rich, it was luscious, it was comforting. Growing up in southeast Texas, crawfish boils were always some of the most exciting times of the year. The crawfish tails in the ramen brought me back to those summer days eating crawfish with a cold beer. The duck breast for the fourth course was exceptionally cooked. It was juicy and flavorful and made a perfect bite with a bit of cauliflower, raisins, apricot, agrodolce, and foie-sauce. Each bite was such a symphony of flavor that kept me coming back. Last but absolutely not least was the gâteau ardéchois: the chestnut cream cake. Accompanied by cranberry coulis and crispy meringue bites, this dessert was a sweet but still mellow finish. While the coffee mascarpone ice cream was a robust and complementary flavor, we both agreed the vanilla coconut ice cream was the star between the two. Thank you again to the stellar crew at Mink! This is my wife’s favorite she love the Ribeyes well done, Ocean Prime never miss with her stakes. “Went here for our 11th anniversary. Was recommended here many times. We had the tableside tomahawk for 2. Sliced by the tableside by the manager and plated as well tableside. When i tell you, this steak was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Seared to perfection, excellently cooked, and very conservatively seasoned to bring out of every flavor of the steak. The house salad and dressing is unlike any around, leaving you wanting more. Our waiter (Joe) i believe was absolutely stunning. He caters like no other, but also lets you enjoy your meal, without interupting and still servicing. If i could rate higher, i absolutely would. I will DEFINITELY be back here. “Pretty good food and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server was a spectacular. Unfortunately the bar service was slow so our server had to apologize 2 or 3 times for not delivering our cocktails earlier. They took quite a while. My margarita was too tart for my liking but my hubby enjoyed his (some spin on an old fashioned)

It seems the menu selections are not really for your average Mexican cuisine diner. A bit pricey for no reason at all. I probably wouldn't come here again by choice but if someone else invited me, I'd return.

My husband got the half chicken and I got the steak, both were pretty good and came with veggies and house made corn tortillas which were great for making little tacos. Use the accompanying salsas on the menu, they boost the flavor of the entrees. Parking around this place is not the easiest.“

The fish was soo good. when the guy knew that we are traveling he packed the Hummus in a bag of ice to keep it cool. Sarah was sooo helpful and nice. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. I really don't know or understand what's going on with the fish market these days, but the fish from other establishments I have frequented, are bad pieces of fish to sell to the market.

I won't name the establishment, but they serve fish for profits only. The quality of the fish is subpar at best .

Fred's has consistently served fresh flavorful fish, with choice pieces that were selected for satisfaction and to cure the hunger of their customers.

“Absolutely delicious and elegant food- worth every penny in my opinion. Loved the beet salad -chock full of golden yellow beets and dressed in a delicious and flavorful vinaigrette. I ordered the Vineyard chicken as my entree- delicious and moist chicken breast with a delicious smashed potato and cippolini onions, mushrooms and ca to go along with it, swimming in a velvety sauce. Loved and finished every last bite, it was that good! I haven't been able to say that about any nicer meal I've had lately. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back in the future. Drove here from the west side and I'm so glad we did!“

“We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“
