“I loved the Detroit location but it's almost an hour drive away. They expanded to open on Orchard Lake Road near West Bloomfield/Keego. This location has all the same bakery goods, cafe setting, and throws in free parking. It's like having an authentic French bakery in my backyard. I am going to have to pace myself, everything is delicious but the croissants and coffee are excellent.“

“I travel a lot for work and so I try a lot of different smoothies & recently I was in town and stopped by here to try out a smoothie - it was hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and it was healthy! (It was the protein shake with espresso, I forget the exact name.) The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining their menu and what they offer. I highly recommend this place!! (The smoothie was full when I got it but I drank some of it before I remembered to take the picture lol.)“

“They put crack in their coffee I swear. That must be why I’m addicted to it right? My fav go-to dunkin! I always stop by on my way to OU and it’s the #1 reason why I was late to class in college. They occasionally mess up from time to time but who doesn’t. Plus the coffee is like $2 lol“

“This place is soooo cute!! I got an iced matcha latte with their maple brown sugar syrup and it was amazing! The man working was very nice and explained everything very well. If I had the time to sit down there, I would because the atmosphere was super cute. You can tell the matcha is high quality based off of the taste and the syrup paired with it made it even better. I’ll for sure be back! :)“

I'm glad I did! the baristas recommended a brown sugar latte with pistachio milk and that's what I got, iced. It was phenomenal. Great price point for the quality of the product. “Cute, comfy, and eclectic spot! The staff here are such a delight, which is definitely the highlight (aside from a vegan friendly establishment in Waterford/Clarkston). I’ve been here twice so far, and we ordered the LA Garden and Picasso, which are breakfast scrambles (tofu sub $1.50 and vegan cheese sub $1). The lattes are also nice.“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “Was here twice in a week with my sister from AZ. Coffee was great both times....we had ours hot and it was nice and hot. The cinnamon roll was good along with the Spinach Feta quiche. The people are very friendly and helpful. On August 26th one of the times we were there, felt so bad for the girl working. She was all by herself. We were there from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. she was working all by herself. The place was crowded and she had no help ? She did an awesome job though.“

“This review is for the Royal Oak Roast only. The road is full of as*holes , the world going to sh*t more and more. The people in charge care not at all and we are on a very possible path to doom. Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! “My favorite location. Staff knows who I am. They are always informative when I ask about the new drinks and food items. Always greeted when I come in. No matter how busy. Great awesome staff. The manager Allie totally rocks.

Parking: It's inside a plaza right down the street from the local high School and other very busy businesses. So it's always busy during the school time. But when the kids are on a break it's great. Wide open.

Kid-friendliness: There's always a mom there with her kids. Getting them cake pops. While they grab their fix.

“I know there are a few negative reviews out there, so I had to come check it out for myself to see what all the fuss is about.

I personally think the novelty of it isn’t that bad. Sure, it’s not for everyone. Easy solution…stop complaining and don’t frequent. Plenty of others will.

The coffee is not bad, but is mediocre. I found the service to be great. At the end of the day, service is the single most important aspect of any business. I mean, your product can’t suck, but even if it’s mediocre (edible or drinkable), the service will be remembered more.“

“As an Actor and Filmmaker, I tend to hold a lot of meetings at Starbucks on Sashabaw Rd in Independence Township, MI as it's 25 seconds from I-75 and easy to find, but the latest remodel has reduced the available seating considerably and I'm rethinking Starbucks as a destination. It's nice that there are more power outlets to plug devices in, but fewer chairs make this added convenience counterintuitive. Not a fan of having to sit outside so I'm considering alternative, well-known locations. I think Tim Hortons may be a bit more hospitable to guests.“
