I am writing this be because you had the audacity to serve me a salad with lettuce!!! The waitress asked which type of dressing but I told I didn't want the salad. Hmm I guess she didn't hear me. Plus the baked potatoe was okay but way over cooked and the prime rib was medium rare and i asked for medium!!! I guess the new owners are doing things there way!!”

“This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Lansing and the folks who run it are wonderful! They have the best garlic sauce in central Michigan and it comes with pita. The food is always always always fresh and delicious. I am not related to anyone there and I have not been paid or compensated in any way for this or any other reviews I may have given for this restaurant. I honestly just love their food and it never leaves me feeling cruddy. I have digestive issues sometimes from restaurant food and I always feel great after eating here. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. They have yummy desserts as well. Now they have an amazing Lunch Buffet for around $15.00 and it’s a great way to try things you may be hesitant to try. It also includes salad choices, soup, hummus and their garlic sauce with pita!!! Two Thumbs up 👍 👍”

“Lovely little coffee shop! I enjoy their Westside location and am so glad to have a spot on the Eastside that is more convenient for me. The space is bright and welcoming, the baristas have always been friendly and helpful, and the staff has been very accommodating of my service dog and I. They even asked and provided him with a pup cup during our last visit! (To be clear, they are not a pet friendly business and only allow service animals per the ADA.) I typically order tea, though they have a nice selection of coffees and pastries as well. My only critique is that I wish they had more cozy, lounge-type seating, since right now they have mostly desks (although with plenty of outlets for online work). We've been here a few times already since they opened the Okemos location and will continue to visit often!”

“We came for the food since we do not drink, but if you like IPAs this place has a lot of great stuff and a great setting. Plus the male Bartender was nice. But like I said we came for the food! It was very good! My husband had the Olive burger and fries and said it was excellent. My daughter had the kimci fries which was a huge portion and looked so good, she loved them but did say they were a little spicy. I had the Brussels Sprouts Vegan and they were so good! I also have the kalamata Olive vegan Bread was a little to salty for me, I think it was the garlic salt in the everything seasoning. I would order it without that on it. I'm excited to try their other vegan options!”

Our server was amazing but I wasn't too fond of the manager walking around yelling at all his employees who were busting their butts trying to provide the best service to the customers. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know things can get frustrating during dinner rushes. But being the owner of the restaurant and treating your employees so poorly while you have customers trying to eat isn't ideal. I watched this guy yell at all his cooks and servers. Also was rude to a server about a chair when they didn't know said chair wasn't allowed in the outside seating area. I really hope this manager takes the extra steps to pull people aside and be discreet when addressing something instead of causing a scene like we saw tonight. Other then that, we enjoyed this restaurant and the food!”

“I took my mom to the Edgewood Blvd Lansing one yesterday 5.10.24 at 4:15 pm and the food was fabulous. Better than it ever has been. I haven't ever complained about their food and last night was no different, but whatever they did it was all cooked way above perfection. I have not gone anywhere that I can remember and had such an amazing meal as last nights. I usually save some to take home to the hubby, but not this time. I ate it all except a dog scrap piece 😆(that's what the waitress called it). I got the 6oz sirloin (med well) and ribs & mom got the sirloin and shrimp. The ribs were extremely tender and the sirloin was so juicy and perfect. The ribs are always delicious, but will still have just a touch of dryness to them. Last night the meat was flaky and fell off the bone with barely a touch. The service was excellent too. I can't remember our waitresses name, but very friendly and right on top of it. Even my mom said the waitress did a good job. Last night was definitely worth the over-tip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟”

“Everything I tried was excellent. The Chilean Sea Bass is worth the trip alone. I tried a scallop on polenta and was impressed by that as well. I ate on the patio on a very warm summer night. The patio was shaded so even though it was still pretty sunny, I was glad we decided to eat outside. The mocktails I tried were all really good, but the espresso martini was my favorite by far. Our table shared shrimp and peach bruschetta appetizers that went pretty quickly. There was not a single dish that everyone was not happy with. It is also worth noting that the vegan at our table was easily accommodated. We could not have asked for a better experience. I don't like to leave reviews that ignore the bad but there is nothing I would have changed.”

“Everything I tried was excellent. The Chilean Sea Bass is worth the trip alone. I tried a scallop on polenta and was impressed by that as well. I ate on the patio on a very warm summer night. The patio was shaded so even though it was still pretty sunny, I was glad we decided to eat outside. The mocktails I tried were all really good, but the espresso martini was my favorite by far. Our table shared shrimp and peach bruschetta appetizers that went pretty quickly. There was not a single dish that everyone was not happy with. It is also worth noting that the vegan at our table was easily accommodated. We could not have asked for a better experience. I don't like to leave reviews that ignore the bad but there is nothing I would have changed.”

It is to the point where some team members will find their way into meetings when they hear we are getting Jalapenos for lunch!”

“We had a great dinner experience at Olive Garden, and a huge part of that was our waitress, Sami. She was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with throughout the meal. She had such a positive attitude and made the whole dinner feel relaxed and welcoming.
We definitely kept her busy with all of our little requests, extra cheese grinding, and particular preferences, but she handled everything with a smile and great attentiveness. She never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her and stayed upbeat the entire time.
One of the highlights was getting to chat with her about the Upper Peninsula. It was fun hearing about her trips to Gogebic County with her dad. Those little personal conversations really made the experience memorable and showed how personable she is.
Excellent service, great attitude, and just an all-around wonderful server. Sami made our evening better, and we hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Five stars all the way!”

“Absolutely love this place! We were thrilled to find out an Afghan restaurant had opened in town. A friend got me hooked on bolani, and now I can get it anytime! I’ve since fallen in love with their pumpkin borani as well. The portions are perfect, the flavors are amazing, and everything tastes fresh and comforting. My boyfriend is a big fan too, and we make a point to stop in whenever we’re nearby. Five stars!”

I had the chicken and waffles and a Chai tea. Everything was great. I also sampled my friend's breakfast lasagna and it was amazing. I highly recommend the breakfast lasagna especially.”

“This was fun to try. It was my first time at a Korean hot pot and BBQ. The BBQ and the fresh seafood bar were very good. Something has to be changed for the gluten free broth for the hot pot though. It was kinda gross. it ruined the experience for me. I would give this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars.”
