I wanted to substitute pastrami for pepperoni on the Italian and it was a 2 dollar upcharge. He suggested the King with all the meats but just substitute from there and save myself some money instead of paying an upcharge. I will definitely drive the 40 minutes to come back and get fresh subs with fresh cut meat from them.”

“Lovely little coffee shop! I enjoy their Westside location and am so glad to have a spot on the Eastside that is more convenient for me. The space is bright and welcoming, the baristas have always been friendly and helpful, and the staff has been very accommodating of my service dog and I. They even asked and provided him with a pup cup during our last visit! (To be clear, they are not a pet friendly business and only allow service animals per the ADA.) I typically order tea, though they have a nice selection of coffees and pastries as well. My only critique is that I wish they had more cozy, lounge-type seating, since right now they have mostly desks (although with plenty of outlets for online work). We've been here a few times already since they opened the Okemos location and will continue to visit often!”

“I took my mom to the Edgewood Blvd Lansing one yesterday 5.10.24 at 4:15 pm and the food was fabulous. Better than it ever has been. I haven't ever complained about their food and last night was no different, but whatever they did it was all cooked way above perfection. I have not gone anywhere that I can remember and had such an amazing meal as last nights. I usually save some to take home to the hubby, but not this time. I ate it all except a dog scrap piece 😆(that's what the waitress called it). I got the 6oz sirloin (med well) and ribs & mom got the sirloin and shrimp. The ribs were extremely tender and the sirloin was so juicy and perfect. The ribs are always delicious, but will still have just a touch of dryness to them. Last night the meat was flaky and fell off the bone with barely a touch. The service was excellent too. I can't remember our waitresses name, but very friendly and right on top of it. Even my mom said the waitress did a good job. Last night was definitely worth the over-tip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟”

“I was there on the 16th of June and I got out of work and wanted a drink from Burger King. I pulled up to the window and the guy name Eric was very kind and had a great vibe to him, he told me that my large fountain drink was on the house which made my day so much better I told him I can pay and I was trying to give him my card and he kept saying it’s on the house. I’m definitely gonna come back to this particular Burger King again these are hard working employees and they do there best to make their customers happy. Thank you Eric for the drink. :)”

It was very good! My husband had the Olive burger and fries and said it was excellent. My daughter had the kimci fries which was a huge portion and looked so good, she loved them but did say they were a little spicy. I had the Brussels Sprouts Vegan and they were so good! I also have the kalamata Olive vegan Bread was a little to salty for me, I think it was the garlic salt in the everything seasoning. I would order it without that on it. I'm excited to try their other vegan options!”

As soon as we walked in the door, one of the male wait staff members grabbed my 2 year old and started walking away from us! Obviously I followed, and it turned out he was taking him to a giant toy stash to let him pick something out. I’m sure their intentions are good, but you are a stranger, you don’t just grab someone’s child and start walking away! This same employee interacted with my son a few times during our meal, and then as we were getting ready to leave, he was tickling him and massaging his shoulders…creepy. Needless to say I was ready to get my son out of there. Can’t tell if it’s just this particular employee or just their way of trying to be friendly but it was too much.”

“I cannot stop raving about the cinnamon rolls and coffee here! The cinnamon rolls are absolute perfection soft, warm, and loaded with gooey cinnamon goodness. The coffee is smooth, rich, and pairs perfectly with every bite. I came with my friend and her young daughter, and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even brought out toys to keep the little one happily occupied, which made our visit so relaxing and enjoyable. Amazing food, wonderful people, and a cozy atmosphere highly recommend!”

They had multiple staff that called off and the few that were there were still kind, attentive, and delivered quick service. The place was full in spite of the storm. “Had a BLAST coming here for with my family to celebrate my brother and my cousins birthday! Our server, Davion, was all smiles the entire time he served our party of seven. We only did wine tastings, but we had so much fun doing so!! The experience is grand and the prices are affordable. The only thing is the lack of space. It IS an awesome time, so space is tight. Id recommend time blocks or something similar. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful time!!”
