The menu is simple and delicious. The staff was friendly and appreciative of our business. I really enjoyed the Spicy Mortadella. The bread was so fresh. This place offers sandwiches, salads, and tasty dips. The French Onion dip was yummy. They do cold brews and hot coffee also. I strongly recommend this place. Easy parking in Ferndale.“

“I came to Umai Café in Troy for my birthday because I really wanted to try their soufflé pancakes — and they did not disappoint! They were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the sando, which was just as good — flavorful and satisfying.

The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were very kind. The only small hiccup was that the posted hours said they open at 11:30, but they didn’t open until 12:00, so keep that in mind if you’re planning an early visit.

Overall, it was a wonderful birthday treat, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!“

“Drive thru or walk up with outdoor seating. No indoor dining. Food is good. Recommend the maple waffle sandwich. The chicken sausage is not the typical sausage seasoning. It is mild and let's the flavor of the egg, cheese and maple come through. Absolutely delicious.“

I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! We had one of the original Cloud Cakes (dressed up with Nutella and berries) a key lime cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. “Had not been here for a salad in a long time. Their Chef Salad was just as good or better than I remembered. Lots of fresh tasty vegetables, meats cheese. “I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. Elaine’s has amazing bagels and their hazelnut coffee is unmatched. You got yourself a regular. I recommend this place to anyone!“
