“Such an eclectic menu! From walking tacos to wraps to pizza. Her pizza is THE BEST! The crust is not dense and has a lot of flavor. The cheese is nothing you have probably tasted before on a pizza. I enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Wrap. It was enough for two people. Afterwards, if you have enough room, she has a pretty big selection of ice cream. A few choices are not your typical favors too.”

Not a bar you need to be a regular at to get service, the bartenders were friendly and outgoing. I’m not sure if they had food other than chips and candy but the beer was ice cold and that’s all that mattered to me.”

“My husband and I had dinner at La Catrina’s while visiting Houghton. It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, and even the presentation was outstanding! I had the chicken and spinach burrito and my husband had chicken fajitas. We shared the fried ice cream. I highly recommend checking it out, they are just a few minutes from downtown and very easy parking.”

“Wish I lived closer and could visit every day! Cyberia Cafe is the perfect vintage, cosy, and aesthetic downtown coffee shop! They have friendly staff, a wide selection of specialty and homemade coffees and drinks, a variety of bakery items, comfortable temperatures, classy music, and incredible prices!!! My large 20oz Cafe Au Lait with almond milk was steamed to perfection and paired wonderfully with their Chocolate Almond brewed coffee of the day. I even got a free refill with their Papua New Guinea flavor, all for the price of $4.24! Don’t miss this family-price-friendly coffee shop experience with so many accommodations, excellent customer service, and quality products!”

“Our go-to breakfast spot in the valley. We live in Tamarack City, so location cannot be beat. Every time is amazing, though. Pancakes, omlettes, or our favorite, corned beef hash and eggs (extra cripsy!).

Beyond the food, you cannot beat the setting here. Great photos and some entertaining signs (even in the bathroom). It feels like the embodiment of a Cozy Yooper breakfast.”
