“First time trying Ah-Ha and was very pleasantly surprised. The crab & shrimp boil was delicious but the cajun seasoning could have been spicier. I was thrilled to find marinated pork belly as the pork in my noodles (pork and vegetable option). This was a "need a towel, not a napkin" kind of meal - messy and great! “I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“China House Inn has become our go to Chinese takeout spot. We love TenYen but it's a little bit further of a drive and the good is close to equal. Delicious egg rolls, good shrimp fried rice, and most dishes have been tasty. The almond chicken gravy is bland and the Mongolian beef wasn't the best but we love the sweet and sour chicken, general chicken, and Szechuan chicken. Very nice workers too.“

“Takeout food was all very hot, fresh and tasty! Also, even though I walked in 15 mins before closing time since getting off work late, the owner was super nice and her customer service complemented her delicious food perfectly. Highly recommend if you want good Chinese food!“

“Really good! However I placed online where it gave me the option to get soup and an egg roll with my lunch and I got a call stating I can't have both and I can choose one or the other with rice. No big deal but your online system allows that so please change that so it cant be selected when you guys can - thank you guys!“

“This was the second time I bought a carry out order from Dale Yee and both times the food was great. The egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken were excellent. \nI'm really glad they wrapped the container of sweet and sour sauce in cellophane, it prevented the container from opening when I had to slam on the brakes on the way home. I definitely recommend Dale Yee Chinese.“

“We love China kitchen express! Always huge portions that take us days to eat, great quality and such kind people. So glad we found our go to Chinese carry out. My favorite food is Chinese so this says a lot. We’ve only been in the area for about 3 months and have had it 5 times so take that for what you will! :)“
