“Was just on Mackinac this past week. Stopped in for lunch with 2 of my nieces on Wednesday. It was amazing. So good we came back on Thursday. Hands down best burgers on Mackinac. Service is amazing as well so efficient! Highly recommend stopping for breakfast or lunch!”

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!”

“We have made Kingston Kitchen an annual dinner location while visiting Mackinac Island. The jerk chicken fettuccine alfredo is a must!! My husband had the bbq fried chicken and is still talking about how great it was! Great food plus a friendly atmosphere with a great waitstaff. Highly recommended.”

“The outdoor location is nice for watching the waves. The pricing is low for Mackinac Island. However, when we went, they were running out of most of their menu. They also ran out of ketchup, which is peculiar for a hot dog place. I recommend sticking to the dogs and brats, as the hamburger was literally just a patty on a bun. The Detroit-style dog was good.”

“We were up visiting as we celebrated our youngest daughters adoption day. Sanders was kind enough to personalize a cake for us and surprised our girl with a personalized cookie too! Such kind people with delicious goodies!”

“I had a taste-test date night with my wife. We bought PB fudge from every store on the island and in Mac City. We can say with certainty that Murray Hotel Fudge Company has the best Peanut Butter fudge in the straights. We also agreed that theirs is the creamiest fudge on the island. There are so many flavors, but my favorite is the Cinnamon Bun! Although there was an error in our rather large online order, they proved that their service is excellent by correcting it right away. Latoya was wonderful and helpful. Thanks!!”

“We very much enjoyed our time at The Grand Hotel. The front porch was amazing for afternoon drinks and relaxing. Shout out to James Tan, our absolute favorite server! We stayed at The Grand with friends for a week! We enjoyed meals at the Jockey Club and loved The Woods!! The staff was mostly attentive, I think the concierge team could do a bit better at being nice. The only complaint I have is dinner in the main dining room. We wanted the experience and got all dolled up one night. Drinks on the porch were great! Dinner was terrible and the service was terrible. I understand it’s a commitment and that’s part of the experience, but our waiter never came around and asked how our meals were after serving us and waited too long between courses. I could see him having a good time laughing and flirting with a coworker when he should have been attending to his patrons. I would recommend The Grand! We absolutely had an amazing week. I would never have dinner in the main dining room again. There are too many great restaurants on the island. You don’t need to settle for bad food and service.”

“Best little dive bar! The staff are amazing from the bartenders to the servers! Mexican food is the theme, the taco are great and I love the queso! This place really lights up after 10 pm. Has live music every night and some awesome bands like teabag. The solo singers are amazing including a Emily, Paul and Mark! Wednesday night it's like a club and you can dance all night!”

“whoever "mom" is, we love you. we love this establishment and the hospitality it provided us. we frequent the area often and took our friends and employees on a trip up north to see the leaves and lights. I get bad anxiety in vehicles so we stopped here to get a drink before I made the long haul to the UP. My ex-husband gave us limited time but when we got there it was jamming. the hostess looked at "mom" and asked if she could accommodate us quickly. "MOM" didn't only accommodate us, she represented the company so well that forever more I'll say "mom's place." I love you, mom.”

“Audie’s has three great restaurants to choose from for the family occasion. Chippewa Room is fine dining with business casual attire. We had a great waiter delivering our food and drinks when it was needing filled. The restaurant selection can be confusing but understand its catering to family with children on one side or fine dining for those couples or adult gatherings. Be sure to check out the menus and accommodations. An all together great asset to Mackinaw City.”
