“Food was good and service was acceptable (nothing special) but you had a group of 5 guys leave your restaurant last night somewhat bewildered after your waitress Katarina made it quite clear she was not happy with the 20% tip we gave her. Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.”

“We had a fantastic experience our first time and second time in! The food was delicious! We tried a couple hot pots and what a fun experience that was! The soup based we used house and Tom Yum. The restaurant was very clean. Our server “Hua” she so helpful, kindness, nice and so polite. Definitely, will be back here again.”

“This is absolutely the best Mediterranean restaurant in the state of Michigan. Their chicken swarma is phenomenal it is never dried out always fresh with homemade phenomenal garlic sauce. The humas is the best I've ever eaten. The tabooli salad will knock you out.You will not find a better Mediterranean restaurant.Thanks for the great food great service and fair prices. The owners will be successful in this location because they are customer friendly and they deliver what they claim to be the best chicken swarma Anywhere.”

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.”

“I always love a good burger. I also do like Red Robin in particular. This time I tried the backyard BBQ burger with bacon, pulled pork, cheddar, and pickles. Delicious. Nice buttery bun everything had flavor. Sweet potato fries. (NGL 1st batch that came with my burger were cold). They got me some fresh ones ASAP. I like the milkshakes and selection of sandwiches. They could do better with the appetizers (hence I didn't get one) Would I go back? Yep..”

Maybe it’s my own personal experiences, but strip mall located coffee / bakery / lunch houses are hit or miss. We found this business while trying to hit a quick spot on our way home.

Just know from here on out - this spot HITS.

✅Generous portion sizes.
✅Bakery items were tasty and well priced. ($0.95 for a peanut butter cookie is just unheard of these days)

Staff was friendly, kind and accommodating for our family.

They had a steady line but worked through it well and no one waited more than you’d expect to get your food and drinks.

“I had the chicken wings and garlic aloi fries. The wings was really good, big wings and had a lot of sauce on them. It's 12 for 20 which to me kinda expensive. The fries was disappointed in 7 dollars for some fries that's half of them was soggy. There was little cheese on it. The ones that was cooked was okay. I wouldn't highly recommend it but I would give it another try if different cooks was working. Saw one guy had to give his wings back before me because they was under cooked.”

“Went here for about three hours on my first visit to Detroit with my fiancé. She grew up on this place. I have traveled the world and believe this is the best pizza I have ever had. Also, their sandwiches are incredible Ashleigh the bartender was so cool and fun to interact with as were the rest of the patrons that were there.

Can’t wait to visit again. Will be a “must” meal next time I am in Detroit.”

“My husband and I are from Missouri. We have tried plenty of boba places all over the U.S. when traveling. This is the best boba/general tea we have had anywhere. I ordered the Mango Sago, and my husband got Brown Sugar milk tea. The drinks are well balanced, toppings are generous, and the cashier was very friendly and upgraded our drinks due to being out of jumbo boba. We will be back before we leave! :)”

My boyfriend had the pork chop dinner with salad and french fries and I had the spinach bacon chicken with chicken and dumpling soup and french fries. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.”

“This is my go-to Jets location. It’s not the closest to me, but it is so worth the extra drive time. The food is always fresh and done on time, the employees are always friendly and extremely helpful/quick to jump to fix any mix ups, it’s always super clean, everybody is always working, just top tier service. Would highly recommend coming here as you can tell they put love into making their food and they serve it with a smile. The lobby is a little small so it gets really crowded when it’s busy, but that’s about the only negative!”

Used to live in MH and recently moved a couple months ago. It’s a 20 minute drive one way to this location for me now but all the hungry Howies near my new place have awful service and food. Nobody beats the MH hungry Howies in my opinion!”
