“Stopped in on a whim. What a great experience. Atmosphere is relaxing and tranquil. I love the decor and seating. I had the Pistachio Coffee Martini and it was amazing. Josh was behind the bar that day, great guy who makes a wonderful cocktail. I plan on coming back to experience more.“
“Great food options for a smallish bar. There is a chef there during week (Tues-Fri?) who offers handwritten menu of specials. We had the baked meatballs (delicious) and the Cajun shrimp scampi (added more heat). One of our favorite places for smaller group dinners!“

The bar program alone is an experience no review could do justice, you’ll have to give yourself that pleasure. Don’t just take my word for it. The food, impressive design, indescribable ambience ~ EVERYTHING here is just so intentionally thought of and executed with clear passion. “So good! The octopus was the best octopus dish I've ever eaten - it was so tender with a slight crisp and so flavorful. I didn't even get a picture before we dug into it. The pork collar was a great blend of textures and flavors - I got extra bread just to have a delivery vehicle for the peach conserva in this dish. The croquettes were a must too, they packed so much mushroom goodness in them. We got 3 small plates and 4 large plates, which was more than enough for 4 people. Will be coming back again.“

“Went to FrameBar yesterday for the BirriaBar pop-up with chef Eddie Vargas. Food was excellent and a great value for the amount of food at the price point. I loved that the chef was making the rounds in the dining room to ensure every customer was satisfied. The birria platter and quesabirria were both great, as well as the salsas, queso, and aguacates. Lastly, the bar had good Mexican-inspired drink options, with the smoked Oaxacan old fashioned being my favorite for both taste and presentation. Great work all around.“

“We came after dinner for drinks for our anniversary. We met Chris and Scott and they were amazing! They had great energy and they were so nice. I would highly recommend going when they are both working for a great experience! The drinks were great as well!“

I really love the concept here with rotating chefs every 6-8 weeks. Definitely coming back for dinner.

“The pizza is AMAZING! I think I can easily say this is the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. I first discovered them at pop up they had near Campus Martius, but finally got to go to their new home on Holden. The interior is pretty small, so not best for big groups but a date night or for a party of two is just fine. I wish it was closer to me so I could get take out. We got the Packard Pepperoni and the Mclovin pizza. Both were excellent, I loved the origniality of the Mclovin which was a nod to like a big mac. Anytime I can go again, I definitely will be. Check out this gem if you want to really know what Detroit style pizza is like.“

“Orange Peel Theory is hands-down one of the best summer drinks I’ve ever had. The blend of Holiday Spirit Epsilon Tequila with coconut, orange, and citrus is insanely smooth, refreshing, and just the right balance of tropical and tangy. It’s like a beach vacation in a glass. I’d serve this at every campsite, tailgate, and backyard hang if I could—absolute 10/10!“

“We came to The Whitney for an early birthday dinner for my husband. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience there! The staff went above and beyond my expectations. The food was amazing and cost was much less than I would have expected for the caliber and presentation of our meals and dessert. For all of you paranormal afficionados, their Ghost Bar is a must. The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. Please consider supporting them by being a patron the next time you are in Detroit.“

“Service was great. Nice little restaurant. It was a bit too hot out to enjoy the patio. But would Definitely be worth a trip during the summer.
Ordered the bake cheese dip to start. Really enjoyed it. Goes really good with the toasted baguettes.
Full menu of options for drinks. No frozen drinks tho. They do not have a blender. They carry Faygo pop and that was a real treat.
Ordered the chicken Caesar salad. If I had known that, the salad came premixed I would’ve asked for the salad dressing on the side. It turned the Romain lettuce, soggy quickly. Couldn't take the left overs. Dressing was on the bitter side.
Also, tried the fire bird sandwich. Bun gave it good texture. Not a fan of the topping choices. Didn’t go well with the cheese and sauce.
I was excepting a little more from the menu. Smaller menu. Will be back.“
