“We were there on a Saturday night, party of 13, I did reserve table and waiter, who has served us before, Nick O., both the food and Nick were great. Though we had two tables, close together, we were treated so good, from the drinks to dessert it was great. Nick kept our drinks full, our appetizers were spot on, my grandson loved the calamari, first time trying it, our entrees were so good, a variety was tried by all, from chicken, pasta, steak, pork chops. “Casa Pernoi is our favorite restaurant. Period. Full stop. It all starts with the bread -- which is the best in the galaxy. This is award-winning bread, best I have ever tasted. I like the size of the portions. They are just right. The food tastes so good you would leave over-full if the portions were bigger. “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“
