The shish combo was amazing, the beef was very tender and had a lot of flavor, the chicken was also really good. The burger has good flavor and the chicken sandwich. They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “Ate in the lounge and had fantastic service. Lovely wood smoke smell in the place. Tried 4 different red wine between my wife and I, all terrific. The small plates we tried were all excellent. My favorite was the whipped salted cod and my wife loved the maitake mushrooms. The mains were also great, the halibut was our favorite. The sherry for dessert was great.

Overall, a surprisingly good meal with fun and knowledgeable wait staff. Best meal I e had had in a good while.“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch in between errands. Ordered 2 quesopitas and they were amazing. The chicken and veggies were so fresh and tasty. In addition to that, when I noticed the table needed to be cleaned they came and cleaned it even though they were understaffed and so busy. One of the kind workers even opened the door for us as we left and kindly wished us happy holiday. The food and customer service were phenomenal! Making this my go to spot for lunch here on out!“

I've had the chicken pita, strips, fries, etc and everything is always pretty good. Prices are fake and you get a pretty decent amount of food. I always have leftovers. Staff has always been friendly and inviting. I recommend if you're looking for great food at the mall or even carry out for dinner.“

“Just tried your new Ft Wayne location yesterday. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for years, your food is as close to legit as I have found since moving back to the USA!! The chicken Schwarma and tabouli were soooo good!! The falafel was the best I have ever had!!! The pita bread was excellent that the Schwarma was made with!!! We will def make the 1.5 hour drive to go back and do it frequently!!!“
