“Had to travel an hour to get to Costco for the last 12 Montepulciano wine in the state! Then we stopped at The Coach Grill on the way home and I had the absolute best corned Beef Sandwich I have ever had anywhere! The Burgers were prime meat and delicious! Best ever! Will not miss this Burger and a Beer Resteraunt next trip to Madison Hts!!!!“

The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. “Me and my girlfriend ordered from this place and we got take out. I've never been here before. She's been here a few times. I got the chorizo hash with scrambled eggs, and she got a breakfast sandwich. The wait wasn't too long, and you could see when you walked in that they were making everything fresh and to order, so you are definitely getting food right off the grill. I got the food and took it home. The hash was amazing and seasoned very well, the chorizo was tasty and the eggs were perfect but the potatoes were the best. She loved her breakfast sandwich. We will definitely be back. This is now on my list for good recommendations.“

“We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

Parking: There are about 20 parking spots, that are very close to the front of the restaurant, as well as the option of valet parking (most evenings). The “overflow” spots are conveniently located and nearby, as well.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spots up front and valet parking available most evenings. The doorways and pathways in the restaurant are ample to accommodate a wheelchair or walker.“
