“I 1st thought the food was horrible. However, I ordered it from door dash and took roughly 1.5 hrs. So the food was cold and saturated in too much garlic butter. I give everything 2 tries. I ordered take out, I live less than a mile away, the food was nice and hot! Wasn't drowned in butter. The shrimp are deep fried enough to eat the tail. Prices are great for shell fish. We also split a house special fried rice. It was all very good. I also liked that you could choose a pick up time for carry out.“

“It's always hard for me to find a Chinese restaurant that makes really good Almond Boneless Chicken. It can sometimes be rubbery or just not cooked well. 1st Wok has amazing Almond Boneless Chicken cooked to perfection. They put their gravy on side, and the combo includes rice and an egg roll. They give you so much for a low price and it lasts me a few meals! They're always so friendly and fast! If you ever want some great Chinese food, this place is amazing! Highly recommend!“

Ratios a little off in my opinion, but delicious none the less.I know not every family can afford to dump all the profits in to building, you have families to feed…. I get it. “Another frequent flyer like many others in the reviews and comments, I've been coming here many years west before COVID, now obviously it is ran a little differently. I believe it has just became easier, more efficient, less costly on labor, and they're still booming. You will see a line in the doorway and outside trying to get pickup orders. If you can't pick up, I believe they do DoorDash and Grubhub, but don't quote me. Everything is always great here, just know what you're ordering so you don't order with the wrong words and get a surprise meal and blame them! They're pretty on top of their system! Park and shrimp fried rice is excellent. Always fresh, lots of shrimp. Sweet and sour chicken is fabulous. I get the sauce on the side so the breading stays crisp. Seczhuan chicken is plentiful just be careful if you say medium or hot because it's probably a little spicier than you expect if you don't want alot of heat. You can get mild or request the chili spice oil on the side to make it hotter. Hope you enjoy!“

“Hands down the BEST Chinese food ever! We have 2 Chinese restaurants within 4 miles of our home. We drive 15 miles every week to eat here, it's that good! Friendly owners, beautiful dining room. I've never eaten anything here I haven't loved! Mongolian beef, Szechuan Chicken, Egg Foo Yung, and Silver Needle Noodles are EXCELLENT!! Never had anything we didn't like.“

“Great almond boneless chicken, crunchy outside, good flavor, large portion in the dinner. Fried rice and egg rolls are excellent also. Wanton egg drop soup (mixed) was very good, my wife usually gets egg drop but like the mixed soup better. Great value, carryout with 2 tables in lobby.“

“Best hot and sour soup I've had around here. All the right ingredients including the correct fungus and heavier on the vinegar so it's not slimy. Maybe a little to heavy on the vinegar but hey. I was disappointed in the kung pao. It didn't have the right ingredients for king pao in my opinion and was not hot enough. Water chestnut, pea pods, baby corn? I especially would have liked some whole hot peppers, less sauce, and more peanut. Egg rolls and rangoons are great. I'll come back and try something new.“

“Been going to this Leongs on 23 since 1975 when we moved to Chesterfield. Never have had a bad meal. We used to do take out more than dine in but Christmas Eve dine in was always a family tradition, a through back from the old days when Chinese was the only thing open on Christmas Eve. When in Detroit it was always The Great China Inn on Harper. You have to know that one Christmas Eve as we were leaving we my husband said Merry Christmas and the lady said same to you Bill.
