“Awesome beer! I never thought I’d like piss but the Great Unicorn Piss is off the hook good… smooth like an ale up front, but it has the hop finish you would expect from a hazy IPA. Two thumbs up from a Texas beer snob. My biggest regret is that I won’t be able to get this beer once I wander back down south. Any way you could share this recipe with Shiner so they could make it for us down here? I did pickup a couple sixers in Lake Orion, so I will savor every drop of my stash until you get down this way. Munising has a hidden treasure… ByGeorge indeed!”

“We were on vacation hiking Pictures Rocks and really had a great time here! The bartender was GREAT and the pizza from next door was delicious! We actually stopped in here twice during our trip. Best micro brewery in the entire area and the pizza was delicious 😎🍺🍺🍺🍺”

“Absolutely hands down #1 pasty in Michigan PERIOD ...... and yes with gravy it's even better. Coleslaw was stupid good. Let me say I'm the most experienced critical native Finnish successful restaurant owner reviewer listed here and I've never ever had a better pasty. In fact let me even blow them up more some of the best food to hit my taste buds in a long time. To the no gravy Boy ..... ketchup is a dusguise and you don't need salt or pepper when they are cooked properly. Must try I bought 3 in less then 18 hours”

“Nice little walkup campground. Definitely worth it to book ahead the sites by the water but the other sites were also nice and private. No showers here. Beach area is walking distance and very peaceful”

“My hubby and & stopped in to this fabulous shop 12/9, it was close to closing time, but the Barista was so kind and served up some of the FINEST coffee I've had since moving home to Michigan from Portland Oregon! I am a coffee snob, after living where there's a coffee shop on every block nearly. Thank you for luring me in with the decadent sweet life-saving aroma of your fine brew!! “Recently visited the upper peninsula. Let me tell you what a gem. Came across needing a quick meal and happened to find Toby’s doghouse. The women at the window was very personable and went out of her way to explain board with food. Burger was probably one of my favorite I had in a long time. Used quality meat and a nice in-house made burger. Way to go staff for exceeding my expectations!”

“Even we got there few minutes after the closing time we were served with great hospitality, willingness to attend to us in a very friendly and pleasant matter even I was a bit picky in choosing 5 big & golden brown pieces of smoked white fish. We went to the hotel straight and one piece satisfied our craving but easily we could have eat a second if not a third nothing better than fresh smoked white fish 🫶🤩”

“We are locals and want to say it was a great breakfast. Place was busy. We had the option of waiting 15 minutes for a table or taking a couple seats at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. The waitress took our drink order right away. We ordered a cinnamon roll to split before we ordered breakfast. It was the most delicious roll I have even eaten. Our food came within 10-15 minutes and was also delicious. We watched the staff and they all worked together to get orders out on a timely basis. We have been there before and will definitely go back again!! Good job Earl e. Byrds!”

“We were in town enjoying drinks at a local tavern when mentioned we could order from Hunt Brothers Pizza. Our order took less then 15 min and the walk to pick up the pie was just around the corner. The service was polite and professional with great prices. The pie was delicious for the sty of pizza that it is. We would recommend Hunt Brothers Pizza if you need a quick bite while near town.”

“Recently stayed at buck horn and was very nice .Food was good but we had groups of 7 some drinking some not,waitress would not give seperate checks.Our group staying there was about 20 and many are not returning over restaurant policy”

“the ambiance is great! everyone was friendly and welcoming. they didn't just "serve" food they continued to make sure we were taken care of. the music selection was peppy and we were surrounded by books, plants and play structures for kids. I wish we had something like this in Marquette. the only downside was 88+ degrees and no air conditioner!”

“The buffalo burger and UP burgers were both DELICIOUS! And so filling! The ground buffalo had a great taste and was not dry. She reccomend my husband and I share a chili cheese fries because the portions are generous, and she wasn't kidding! They were delicious and LOADED, but they kicked our butts and we weren't able to eat the last few bites. The music was a little different than what they usually play and my husband and I think they should play it more often, we really enjoyed it! The festive dinosaur waiting for Santa by the tree was cute too! 😀”

“Frank made us the most beautiful and delicious sandwich, prepared with the most dedication and contagiously joyful attitude we have encountered at a Subway (and we have been to plenty). All the staff were exceptionally kind, warm, and friendly, even late at night close to the end of their shift. Would recommend this location to anyone passing through the area.”

“No frills Mexican setting with great view of the Lake Superior. The whitefish bowl with Verde salsa was delicious. Order at counter and they bring food to table.”
